The Surprising Maturity of Toy Story: A Disney Pixar Masterpiece (Video Essay) 

A masterpiece of a franchise. And I gotta say that the animation in this movie hasn’t aged bad at all, I know we’ve come so far when it comes to animation since 1995, but it looks pretty good still.

Best Animated Movie

What really gets me about the series is how much I grew up with it and it grew up with me. In the first one, Andy was the same age as me, in the third one, I was in college just like him, and although fourth one doesn't have as much of a pull, when they put that replay of "You've Got A Friend In Me," it just hit me like a ton of bricks and I bawled because I have more of an emotional connection to it all than I realized.
