I never cease to be amazed by the way you get your interviewees comfortable to the level that they open up so freely to you. You truly have a gift. I think it must be that you are so genuine and open/transparent and honest about yourself, and so they trust you to the extent that they feel comfortable confiding in you. Much respect to you, Wil. 🙌🤙
As long as talagang maanghang parin. It's an experimental din kasi to make new dish.
Done watching 3 episodes podcast.. last episode of ninong ry, so inspiring.
Basta nakaka-inspire kayong dalawa Wil and Ninong Ry.
Sobrang nahook up talaga ako sa episode na to with ninong ry. Sobrang napaka natural. No negative, just positive emotions lang talaga siya. And at the same time andaming lessons. It feels like parang nasa likod kalang talaga nilang dalawa na nakikinig. ❤️❤️❤️
Done WATCHING the 3-part podcast on Spotify grabe ang ganda ng usapan 4am and 6am inuman I hope that you two will continue to do some episodes and just talk about anything maybe with chef JP next too!
That bicol express is not wrong! for some chefs its a genius innovation, quality chefs tend to go out the recipe book they deconstruct, reconstruct the recipe depending on the innovation/creativity/approach of the chef. and take note bicol express wasn't made in bicol it was made in makati area.
@@qtaro-7097 same with adobo. I saw a video where spanish man cook adobo and his comment section are filled with filipino comments saying that "its not adobo" "adobo should be vinegar and soy sauce" and they are proud that. Claiming adobo is filipino food
@@qtaro-7097 The recipe wasn't really changed. It was inspired by an Italian recipe "Bolognese". But no Filipino calls our sauce "Bolognese", that's why it doesn't get as much "hate". Filipinos just call it "Spaghetti" or "Filipino Spaghetti" but "Spaghetti" as how you call the shape of the pasta. 😂
Done watching the 3 episodes. This is the 2nd podcast that I ever listened to, the first one is also your interview with Ninong ry. Such a good podcast. Thank you!
Wil amazing questions! Also one day, I hope to see Kulas/Kyle Jennerman/Becoming Filipino in this podcast, the guy have a good and unique perspective in life.
yung bicol express ni ninong ry it's his own version nothing wrong with that tawag dyan improvise damn a lot of judgemental people especially on social medias
Accepting mistakes is a sign of humbleness. Being honest about who you are flaws and all. You never know who you are inspiring by simply being you. With this collab we became so inspired and admired you both all the more. Sa pa morningan nyong usapan you both did a great job
Eto yung umamin na sila n mga youtuber n good or bad publicity is still publicity.. kaya ako weekends nlng ako ng social.. ibig sbhin totoo pala n my control kayo kung saan ma boost ang tao thank you ninong ry my bayad mg boost sa lugar n gusto m hahaha
I have been eyeing your apparel for quite a long time but now I got a job. I wanted to get 1 so bad. Can someone please tell me where can I find wil's apparel store or online shop.
His bashers/detractors have long criticized Ninong Ry for his constant cooking of unhealthy food; gives the informed the wrong signal that Filipino cuisine is all about meat, fat, cholesterol and unhealthy dishes. Another sound criticism is from the cooks, chefs and the food community that sees Ninong Ry as a sellout, constantly accepting all type of products that obviously will not really jive well to the dishes he is cooking, his Pacific Sunrise oil is a major offender, when you discover that cooking oil very expensive. They think Ninong Ry lost his genuineness when food sponsors kept pouring in, he got reduced into an image endorser, rather than an individual that accepts sponsorships because they know that products really works for them
I just binged watched all 3 episodes sa Spotify. Its very inspiring and a lot of life values are very on point. Please I would love Cong to be there.
Try inviting Maverick Bautista from Mav’s Phenomenal Basketball, the channel has daily uploads since he started the channel many years ago up until now
@Ninong Ry is i guess at that level where he can risk it.. good that he has grown into being better than being one of those basura content creators who needed to rely on bashers if not poverty porn etc.. and his contents' honesty i can say is not painted.. so as to be categorized as "porn" or basura.. just sending good vibes to his viewers..
I can also understand the existence of detractors of Ninong Ry, from people that hates him constantly cooking obviously unhealthy food to chefs and cooks in the food community not agreeing in some of his cooking style and dishes
