You forgot to mention although hotel accommodation can be the same room rate as AirBnB but they charge additional resort fee which is also known as amenity fees (plus taxes for the fees). This would be on top of the room fee you originally paid either via a travel portal. This is a very important important information especially if you are travelling from overseas. Most of the hotels wont tell you this upfront. You will find out during the check out. These fees can be up to 40%-50% of your daily room rate. Please be aware of this.
More of a reason to turn the Hawaii trip into a little camping adventure 😝 Lots of booking sites will inform you of this fee before you arrive but definitely a good point and pinned this comment at the top for more people to see. Thanks for this! 🫶✨
I’m staying for a week in May. I’m going to watch all your videos and make notes of the things I want to do and see and eat. Thanks for making realistic videos that aren’t screaming at us or talking so fast that it’s just a blur. I’m was already excited but now I feel like I’ll be prepared. Great job, thanks again. 🙏🥰
Hi. Just found your channel. Headed to Oahu next week. We do not have a Costco any where near our home. Would it be worth it for me to buy the $60 Costco membership just to get our groceries there while on our one week vacation? Thank you!
Short term Airbnb rentals are NOT legal (in Honolulu) if rented for less than 30 days 😉 However, the renter would not be the one getting fined, the homeowner would. We’re sorry for the confusion!
