Mapitso shares why she shares her experience on her stay in Ghana. In this exciting episode, we accompany Mapitso on a fascinating journey as she shares with us the intricacies of her career path from Jo'burg of Accra.
I'm a Ghanaian and let me tell you. Ghanaians can laugh with you then talk about you behind your back. Then laugh with u again. It does and can happen.
@@LincolnAche have you lived in Ghana. If so i'm surprised you don't see the difference. Being two face and gossiping are two different things. So come correct!
You guys are confused. If someone is been polite and tolerable to your behavior even though they are uncomfortable is that pretentious? Do you expect them them to be hostile instead; how does that brings cohesiveness and inclusion? Is that why they attacked Foreigners in South Africa because that's their way of showing they don't like you? That's when keeping it real goes too far, right? Any civilized society is more accepting even if suspicious so you and your guest should shut your trap. Been suspicious of others doesn't mean you are been fake, it only means been cautious instead of retorting to violence or prohibitive vibes toward that person because in any civilized society, that's rude.
Exactly my point bro, they always don’t know this about Ghanaians, even if we don’t like u we will still be nice for ur own sake and this is not the act of being fake
@LincolnAche , in as much as I agree with you that there should be no comparisons between the attitude Nigerians and Ghanaians, I disagree with you referring to Nigerians' attitude as being disputable. You can make your comment or disagree with her opinion without insulting Nigerians. She is not even a Nigerian. That is wrong!
No Nigerian interviewer will support a foreigner who is talking down on Nigerians and Nigeria this way. Never !!!! Am amazed that the interviewer is agreejng with all the trash shes saying about his own people. Am Nigerian and I have Ghanaian friends and I know that most are not what shes describing. Bro, Mr. Interviewer am surprised at you.....why would you give her such a field day? I bet this girl cant say this about us in our country, we shall put her in her rightful place. Even fear will not even allow her start such a conversation in Nigeria. ...That will not happen in my country biko.
"No Ghanaian interviewer should give her this much levity to speak her mind", is what you should've said, But I digress, even on CNN, Aljazeera, BBC, etc, they would tend to control the narrative unless it's a new media podcast or talks how, and even then... How it's Nigerian that is your go-to card tells a lot of how much is unspoken in such few words for the length that you wrote After all, NIGERIA & Ghana are siblings, yeah?
@@aBihDLaSoulu're deceiving urself we will never be siblings never God will never approved it, like we Are siblings the movie my country GHana will not get all this problem God have shown u people ,u can't come and act in the name of our nation u hated,u can use our good name and passports, all will come to end One day.God will judge between GHana and Nigeria
@@joyceanuonyam406 make you dey calm down! Deceiving myself say wetin? E dey sure say you nearly sabi read and assimilate But you're better at jumping to conclusions. My take on siblings is rather rhetorical But sha take wetin you wan take from here go talk your mind
I’ve had a few Ghanian friends in the past and I could never really tell if they liked me or not 😂. But I also don’t have friends from my own 🇳🇬 people 😅 they can hurt your feelings sometimes with their jokes. Most of my friends are Somalis and Asians.
It marks of unguided arrogance to expect others of different cultures to be like you. It takes the treasure of open mindedness to grow to fit into an already intricately woven fabric of attitudes and ways of life and not symbolising an imposter sage. Differences are the pathways of diversity within diplomacy. In our cultures we are trained not to be harsh towards others even if you hate them..hence our being less violent in our actions.
I think you are being overly emotional and it's really not necessary. She was just stating her personal experience and her preferences, the had no expectations from whoever. Since when has it become arrogance to say the truth? Ghanaians have fun discussing Nigeria for a living and even bluntly insulting us you can't even stand an honest review of her personal experience? She didn't say she had expectations or wanted to change anyone
Total madness!!! WHICH COUNTRY has only Angels residing there? Even in your family do you have only angels living there or in your country? Madness everyday. No bad words or even millions of words can tarnish the good name of Ghana. You will talk till you get tired everyday.😂🤣😂🤣❤❤❤🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭✌️
Should everything be binary? I like or hate you. She's rather fake. I saw at a Joy FM trip to Afadjato and Wli Falls. She was all over and rather pretended she likes Ghanaians. I'm surprised at her remarks
She never said she disliked Ghanaians. Nowhere in the conversation did she say that. You really should watch the full conversation for better context. The link is below. Thanks for stopping by anyway! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lKZj_3w_KLg.htmlsi=e-JDOS07OmEN2K4B
@@henryandtech7714 nooo u ppl are going off what u see online and generalizing off of it if we don’t like u you definetely will know even the ones who go about it in nicer way will just distance themselves from u
I just don’t understand why Ghanaians believe that everything is perfect in Ghana..The lady has absolute right to air her opinion…She’s just narrating her experience…She never said that all Ghanaians are fake..She said some Ghanaians that she has encountered in her place of work…
She just nailed it, most of Ghanaian's are pretentious. Pretense is not love or being well coming is not love, like what most Ghanaian's want you to believe
@@kojok5823I hold a Nigerian passport and have been to more countries than you my Ghanaian that can access more countries only in your passport but can’t in person. Ever wondered how Nigerians are still traveling all over the world with their weak passport? Grace baby!
@@kojok5823 wake up boy, I reside in ghana and I know what am talking about, what the lady just said, is 100% fact, she was a TV presenter at joy news, that was her experience working here in ghana. What does passport got to do with this.
Yeah I remember my Ghanian friends in high school. They had a change of behavior when things doesn't favor them. They have a personality change of behavior almost every occasion we went to. Can't vibe with that!
@@themashup233podcastyou are a disgrace. This thing about generalizing behaviors must stop. Is everyone cool in Ghana? Is everyone a snitch? I think no. These things you and her said is disheartening. People pretend all over the world, must you attach it to a whole nation? Your few experiences with people isn't an experience with everyone. Just be careful next time. Else?
@@themashup233podcastYou Ghanaians always defend the indefensible. Ghanaians are fakes, not doers. Ghanaians like to be breastfed by the Nigerians. For example, why do you people always blame Nigeria (which is far better and developed country than Ghana ... yes ... i have spent an equal amount of time in both countries) for all your problems? 1. Nigeria closed their bothers, you cry. 2. Nigeria shut your gas off, you complain dueto non-payment, you blame Nigeria. 3. Ghana must go, you complain. But you forgot that Ghana did it twice to Nigeria first. 4. Your movie industry is dead now, thanks to Nigeria retaliatory response to your $10,000 levy on Nigerian movie producers who wants to film in Ghana. So they pulled out of Ghana. Today, NollyWood is the second biggest movie industry in the world. 4. In music, you blame Nigeria. But you forgot about all the insults from Shatta wale and #playghana led by Black Sheriff and his mentors. 4. Sing-a-thon, Afua blamed Nigeria for her failure. 5. Che Fila, also blamed Nigeria for her failures. 6. Chef Smith ... oh what else can I say about this scammer? He wanted to be like Hilda Bacy so bad that he forged GWR application and Certificate and declared himself the winner just to make Ghana proud. This is Ghanaians for you.
