I am back on the Sussex Border Walk, and this time I am on Thorney Island, taking the short walk along the harbour to Emsworth and reaching the Hampshire border. From here we travel northwards to Surrey.

I have no problem with you calling your not a car a CAR . It's a vehicle it carries passengers I remember my parents station wagon they called it a car . Your vehicle is a station wagon on steroids ☺️🤷🏼‍♀️🇨🇦I remember the long train trips we ate in the dining car. Slept in the sleeping car and viewed the scenery from the observation car. One of my favourite train memories was on a short train trip the soldiers in the passenger car entertained us by singing songs I think I was about four years old. I am glad that you have taken us on today's walk a great start to my day.

Hi Richard, another enjoyable video. Just to let your subscribers know you can walk completely round thorney island it’s a beautiful walk, but you will have too pass through two camera check points one each side of the island, I have never been refused entry but stay on the coast path. The island was once home to RAF, I be leave it’s now home to the army, it was also used to home Vietnamese boat people Emsworth is a lovely place to visit and was once famous for its oysters and cockles, looking forward to your next border walk

Another amazing episode of the border walk, and another one where I love the places you visit and would love to visit too. Thorney Island sounds very peaceful. Must be amazing to have one of those places where you can look out at the harbour and watch all the little yachts and boats coming in. Great places to walk. The same with Emsworth great peaceful place, great little harbours and marina's. And well done for reaching the Hampshire border Richard great achievement. Looking faward to the next one :)

What a great journey. At 3.20 it looked like you were cycling. 9 minutes in and some great tunes. Then a lovely haunting melody towards the end. Perfect editing. Wonderful scenery and beautiful weather. Enjoy your Northern trip. Thougherly enjoyed all your coastal trips. I've never ventured much near Thorney although I do remember going on road trips as a very young lad when my uncle was based in the RAF there. My aunt use to drop him off and we'd return back to Worthing.

It's great that you have so many public foot paths, we have a couple trails near my town in the U.S. but to use them it's best to be armed and not alone. I'm not saying it's dangerous but it's not exactly safe.

I know it’s technically east Hampshire, but you should really consider going to St Hubert Church and it’s surrounding greenery. It’s just west of Forestside on the Sussex border, and north of Finchdean. One of the most beautiful churches in the most spacious of areas!!
