I have the luxury of running every type of outboard here in the south Suzuki has really impressed me at this point. It will probably be my next purchase. I know guys with over 14,000 hours on their Suzuki. They are impressive thanks for the content.
Love my 2024 250SS. I wish the Stealth had been available in January! I’ve been a Suzuki guy for several years and they just keep getting better. Here in west Ky you see most Suzuki engines on tri-toons. Fishing boat dealers are slow to catch on. They will.
I'm still running '12 Evinrude Etec 250 H.O. 2013 Ranger Z520 w/Atlas (knock on wood). 1 waterpump, 2 sets plugs indexed etc... I love it! when time to go it'll either be Suzuki or Yamaha.
That was a good video. I really like that motot. I live down here in south central Florida and don't know of any dealer close to me. Anyway, hope your customer likes the new outboard. It is sharp!!!!!!
Suzuki is an amazing motor company. My 20HP tiller has been awesome! Really want to repower my Crestliner with a Suzuki, but the Mercury 2 stroke classic still ripping!
When I got my Stealth 250 it came stock not trimming down to 0 from the Factory. After a few trips I figured that out. My dealer missed it at rigging. My SS was their first Suzuki.
I repowered last year and went with the 140 also, what a sweet motor I can’t tell you how many times at the launch people have made a comment on how quite it is.
I may also become an annual customer I can’t stand American Marine in Shawano where I got the boat, service dept. is low class & I’ve followed you for a while now & watch all your videos, I can tell you know what you’re doing & take pride! 🔥🎣🔥 My speed gauge just stopped working out of nowhere, and I wouldn’t mind you going over everything on the engine just as a service I just changed the lower unit oil so that shouldn’t need to be done as it was only merely hours ago. Just give me a range of what you charge! Thanks bud! 🤘🏼
Have you guys hooked up NMEA to this beast of a motor? I couldnt live without it. I have a 90 tiller Zuke, and i can tell ya,you would be hard pressed to find a quiter outboard out there. I am on my 4th Zuke, and not one single problem. I love Suzuki ❤
I was thinking of upgrading to a 90hp from the 60 Merc I currently have on my Lund. It’s only two years old with low hours. I might look at Suzuki now because it’s quiet and I hear that they are reliable. I see a lot of deep sea fishing channels on RU-vid rocking them. Thanks for the video.
Andy, you don’t have a clue who I am, however, I want a Zucke Stealth. That thing looks straight bad ass. Period. Color is wicked. Enjoyed the first run, thanks.
Gotta agree that Hacksaw Jim Duggan is the best pro wrestler ever. Best outboard? Personally, I am a Mercury guy. Have been for my entire life. Over 40 years of fishing from different boats. Don't have a "favorite" boat. But favorite boat engine? Mercury, all day everyday. All sizes. 👍🇺🇸
As a former Merc and current Yamaha owner, I agree that Suzuki is the best looking motor. I’d go Suzuki for reliability and price on next rig but the speed and prop issues are no small thing, Andy. I know you know how to fix em but that doesn’t help me. Suzuki should have it right at the factory.
If only Suzuki would just purchase the rights to the new Solas Scorpion prop and stamp their logo on it they would be 95% there. We've told them that multiple times. It would be the prop to get a great dialed in baseline for all 250 Suzuki customers
@TeamMarineService which pitch on that prop? being in an aluminum right now I'm looking a suzi for my upgrade boat to save a little bit of that fuel efficiency 😂
It’s so cool to see you launch from the same spot I do! 🔥 I’m a bigger guy to & am now looking for a prop, bumped into the 2X4 in my garage & took a good chunk of the blade out lol. I took it off and spun the prop shaft and it didn’t seem bent. Thoughts? and also advice on a certain prop? Thanks ahead bud! I’ll be visiting soon!
Yep the stealth look comes up a treat, won't be long till the other makes jump on board.. How about the wrestlers that always take the fall to let the big names win. GO Steve Lombardi !!!! 😂😅😂😅
Thank you very much for the knowledge, commentary, and passion you have, it’s much appreciated. I have a 250 SS on a 2019 Manitou Tritoon and everything was great achieving 54 mph for first 2 seasons, had my Suzuki dealer do a routine impeller change to be proactive in year 3 and have had overheating issues ever since trying to run at wide open throttle. They switched back to an OEM Suzuki impeller and still getting the same things at wide-open throttle both trimmed up and trimmed all the way down, otherwise runs great at all other throttle levels. Just can’t run wide open throttle, any suggestions please and thank you?
So its a paintjob nothings different 😂 way to go suziluki 🎉 lol they did use the digital ss lower on it i see thats cool. Any word on the 300ap stealth release date?
I have a 2007 ranger with the Evinrude 225 ET. I recently had to replace the computer and instrument panel because the computer went out and the new computer was incompatible with the original instrument panel. The mechanic told me if I later replaced the engine with a Suzuki, I would have to replace the instrument panel again because they’re unique to the motor.
I got 30, 50, 90 suzuki despite 2 are pushing 1300 hours that being 30 and 90 they been turn key motors the 90s lower unit is blown operator error hit a submerged log going reverse my 50 is pushing 2100 hours been a bullet proof motor I won't hesitate buying them
Jimmy Super Fly Snooka !!!!!! I'm fast becoming a Suzuki guy. I have been running Tohatsu for 30 years and I'm rigging a new boat for myself and thinking about a 30 hp Suzuki instead of the Tohatsu. What do you think of reprograming the computer for untapped horse power in small motors? I live around several limited horse power lakes here in Pennsylvania and of course I want the most speed I can get.
Overall we advise against doing it to motors under warranty and technically there are some potential legal issues that COULD arise from doing it on power limited lakes
Not related to the SS, do you know the reason Suzuki changed the ratio on the 4.0L digital models vs the analogue 3.6L models? I have a pair of 250hp 3.6L engines with 2.33:1 which suit my boat very well I am planing to repower with the 4.0L 2.08:1 engines. Cheers.
Oh YEEEEEAAAA the Machoman Randy Savage if he had a bass boat he would be helping Andy install it than he would grab his glasses and say Oh Yea Andy good work Lets take her for a spin Oh Yea
