I honestly thought Brian always looked classy. It didn’t seem that he really went over the top. He did it tastefully in my opinion. 🌟🥰 He had something special that shone through that you cannot manufacture. So naturally beautiful.
Rest in peace Brian. 🥰😢🙏🎸🎶🎵🎼🤘
Brian taking it all in classy stride, good humored, and just having fun with it. Not taking it all too seriously was just the right approach. Hat's off to you, Brian. Rock n' Roll!
Brian and Sweet have every right to be proud of their legacy - despite two arsehole interviewers. Brian handled their childish stupidity like a pro. God bless him.
@@rickamadeo4187 I'm shocked to see how rude those two were. Absolutely no respect or appreciation for Brian and the band whatsoever. I agree with you.
Brian was a legend. Why are these cretins taking the piss out of his old stage gear? I loved his style - he wore tiger face emblems a lot on his stage outfits, I read he had a tiger tattoo too. He always seemed so nice and unassuming in interviews. The clowns with him are a pair of nonentities who were lucky just to breathe the same air! Brian lives on though his fantastic music - what a legacy!
Wow. Total morons. Shockingly bad interview,. And that clown dressed up as Brian making fun of him like he's important in the interview.what a tosser!!!
Great to see Brian taking all this piss taking in good humour. It just goes to show what a genuinely nice guy he was, a real gent and a total professional. I was in my mid teens when Glam music hit the scene in the early 70's. Thanks Brian for that great music, ant the fond memories of a bygone era. Sadly missed r.i.p. Brian. also Mick Tucker (Drummer with Sweet) and Les Gray (Mud)
According to his former bandmates and even Steve, they loved him but they said that he had a serious problem with smoking like a chimney and he was an alcoholic Big Time everybody knew he was an alcoholic goes no doubt that's why he was shaking I think it is eventually cause Parkinson's but he was embarrassed I know he denied this stuff on this interview I feel bad front style of Brian but he killed himself by drinking too much and smoking too much minute just in a cause Parkinson's I took him out to an early death it's it's sad he should not help I think he was in denial and he never wanted help
if he hadnt been beaten up maybe he wouldnt of had the drink and drugs problems! blame the idiots who kicked him in the throat.still a lovely bloke whatever anyone says.
@@billy1858 Yeah, I think that incident definitely accelerated his addiction into overdrive. I mean, he wasn't just beaten up. He was kicked in the throat! For a career singer to get kicked in the throat is like a career guitarist having his hands crushed in a baler. He could obviously still sing really well after that incident, but it did permanently affect his range, not to mention the PTSD that comes with a severe beating like that. it can make you paranoid, and with paranoia comes severe anxiety, and with severe anxiety comes bad decision making and a tendency to self-medicate. Sorry if I'm coming off like a psychologist. I'm just speaking from my own personal experience as a recovering addict who struggles with PTSD. At the end of the day we're all ultimately responsible for managing our demons, but if someone is already prone to addiction, severe trauma is a bit like gasoline to a fire.
Brian was an incredible talent. sadly he had a major problem with alcohol, as so many of the shining stars of that period and subsequent rock periods did. He was a severe alcoholic and basically broke the band up, which they tried to make it on their own but really couldn't do it without him. Never forget Brian and The Sweet.
These two interviewers sounded like they were making fun of Brian Connolly, awful undermining his hairstyle, stage clothes, etc., instead of focusing in the successful musical career of The Sweet and Brian as a frontman of the band. 🙄
Wtf... Brian Connolly could show up late whenever the hell he had to and NO ONE should have given that master any bit of grief over something so trivial.
Super! Übrigens ich bin jahrgang 19.56 . !
Brian is all class. I like the fact that my impression is that they were a pretty clean band?? Am I right? Tho I know Brian had a problem with alcohol. I have this right?
Two complete ignorant rude men doing the interview, being mean to a legend who clearly isn't in good health ,well I'm afraid neither have any talent and it doesn't make good TV apart from Brion being a nice man and rising above them Rip
Brian did become an alcoholic, but it was to do with not knowing who his realparents were, and not being told,he knew what was doing yo his throat and overall health, how could you not, very sad.
Guten Morgen brian.
Brian Connolly is lying when he said that "he's never taken drugs in his life". All the members of Sweet took drugs, smoked and drank to excess; in another interview Brian admits this, although he blames the alcohol for his condition... The band members of Sweet had to chuck Brian out eventually because of his drink/drug addiction getting in the way of his performance...
