This was my wife's favorite song , we will bury her this afternoon , this version of The Sweetest Gift , along with Borrowed Angel and Farther Along will be played . She was a great-grandmother , who was called Mama by many people and Nana by many more , after becoming a grandmother, we've become a large tribe , of mostly children without parents and homeless or abandoned children , we're Nana and Pap to all of them She will be sorely missed , creating a void in many lives . RIP , Toni ( Nana ) Evans , we love and miss you .
We'd will be one year since loosing my baby sister. We were both suffering at the same time but didn't know it. God bless you. The assurance of reuniting one day through Jesus Christ is what gives me life. All my love to you and yours. ❤️
Absolute perfection. You have Linda whose voice is pitch perfect and heavenly, Emmy Lou with her hauntingly beautiful voice, and Dolly whose voice is sweet and timeless. We are beyond blessed to have grown up knowing their music and fortunate to have their music live on via the internet.
Another wonderful song I remember my mom singing when I was a child. She had a big influence when It came to music, with her record collection, and willingness to buy records I liked

One day a mother went to a prison To see an erring but precious son She told the warden how much she loved him It did not matter what he had done She did not bring to him a parole or pardon She brought no silver, no pomp or style It was a halo bright sent down from heaven's light The sweetest gift, a mother's smile She left a smile you can remember She's gone to heaven from heartaches free Those walls around you could never change her You were her baby and e'er will be She did not bring to him a parole or pardon She brought no silver, no pomp or style It was a halo bright sent down from heaven's light The sweetest gift, a mother's smile She did not bring to him a parole or pardon She brought no silver, no pomp or style It was a halo bright sent down from heaven's light The sweetest gift, a mother's smile The sweetest gift, a mother's smile
Beautiful song, beautifully sung. Wanted to see the lyrics but definitely could have done without the bright red bulletin banner across the top. I think we could have figured that out on our own.
