Lord Shiva and Lord Parvati lived here. The word Tejo Mahalaya is a Hindu word. The Tejo Mahalaya represents Lord Shiva and the Red Fort represents Lord Parvati Temple. It was financed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan but the structure was built by Indian artisans and architects. The Mughal architecture and art is a combination of both traditional Indian and Persian architecture so, It's more like Indo-Persian. The Mughal art combines Indian art with Persian elements that's why it is unique.
