Metal Detecting: In this video, "A Tale of Six Buttons" Rob shares the likely story surround six buttons found while metal detecting a historic, Oconomowoc, WI homesite. In his two previous metal detecting videos he used his Minelab Equinox 800 and XP Deus metal detectors to unearth some incredible, historic finds. While there is a bit of history shared in those videos, Rob shares much more research and history around the buttons, people and places to paint a picture of life in the mid to late 1800s.
These videos are so much fun to create but they're also a lot of work. So if you enjoy watching, please like, comment, subscribe and share to help grow the channel and to help raise money in support of the Wounded Warrior Project (100% of 2021 channel profit is donated to TWWP). Thanks and "Festina Lente" (You'll have to watch the video to find out what that means)!

Hi, new subscriber here. You've got to love a button.. especially ornate ones. It's good you know the history of them too. 👍🏻

Love the buttons, I found a similar button with a naval motif and was told it was a French Naval Button 👋👍

Thanks for the watch. Buttons sure are fascinating but hard to ID sometimes. Would be cool if indeed were a French naval button. Thanks!
