He really wouldn't be able to play in any sports. His condition causes him pain throughout his body. Sometimes excruciating from what I understand of the disease. He wouldn't of had a great life.
I remember hearing the stories my grandmother would tell me growing up. She was a wonderful person with the biggest heart I’ve ever seen, and she grew up in Alton Illinois. She got to grow up, knowing this fellow, and the one friend she always told me is the family car had to have the front seat removed so that way he could fit into the backseat, therefore fitting in the car lol. It’s true that this does caused a huge on comfortability and immense amount of pain at times. Pituitary issues are no laughing matter. From what I heard, a kid kicked him in The shins, and since he had those metal braces on his legs it caused an injury that apparently went Septic I don't know if that's true But it's what I've heard It would make sense because the feet are like the last stop when it comes to blood flow So I would think the taller that you are the more strain your body would be under for blood circulation And if he ever smoked, or had diabetes it increases the chances of gangrene from a cut I feel sorry for him If they could have done surgery or gave some sort of treatment for his pituitary gland He probably would have stopped growing at like 7 ft something More manageable I also assume that he did not sleep well Which also a really strains the heart
You're Right❗️🤔 he was very well fed and taken care of, I bet his family spend a fortune in his care; not just feeding him, but in medical care, clothing, a special orthopedic shoes made for him, that alone is Very Expensive❗️ a complete bed dress with a big mattress, pillows, sheets, and blankets made specially for his high, also a special table and chair to accommodate his needs etc. His parents probably have a very good income for them, to be able to afford "All of This Extraordinary Expenses in Only One Son" plus their other children that they had through their marriage 🤔😳

23 years ago you could find photos of a Russian man (circa early 20th century) on the internet with a Google search by the name of Mac Nov. He was officially 9'4", with perfect posture and no traits of gigantism. Wadlow only used a cane after he had an accident followed by a bad medical procedure in an attempt to correct it.

They say the Bible is a fairytale because it says Goliath, who was slain by a young David, was six cubits and a span in height, which is nine and a half foot tall. This shows that is is quite plausible for a man to grow to that height.
If anyone was wondering he didn't die due to his disease, it was due to his leg brace rubbing against his ankle which caused a serious infection resulting in him dying in his sleep.
@@Davincicode6 well your right sir but it is an abnormality in the human body statisticly speaking which is why he died at 22 from and infection from a brace he wore from his body failing under its own mass.
@Zero friends probably they wanted to kill him. He was a living example of living giants amongst regular people. Every giant discovery is destroyed fast and without a trace.
I was in Los Angeles last week, and while there, I visited a Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. Upon entering the museum, a replaca of Robert Ladlow greeted me. It was seated in an oversized chair and would stand up to 8'11" tall. Anazing.
Years ago I read an article about him. They say he was the kindest, gentlest young man and Alton was very pleased that he was their Native Son !.Everyone loved him, especially his baby brother. I am sad this beautiful young man had to die in his prime ! He sure was someone so good for this cruel world ! 🌱🍃🌿
GOD KNOWS WHAT HE DOES❗️ He probably was a heavy burden for his growing older parents; they Work Very Hard Everyday and They Spend a FORTUNE in Him on a daily basis and not just taking care of him; but the Special Care that He Needed for Every Day EVERYTHING had to be custom-made for him to accommodate his high: clothings and hats, orthopedic shoes, ( orthopedic shoes are very expensive for a normal sized person imagine for a giant and he had several pairs) chairs, table, bed, mattress, sheets, blankets, pillows, and food ( by the way he looks like he was very well fed) Everything has to Be made Gigantic for him🤔
