Sounds crazy but putting wax on your bushings and on the king pin makes you turn so much smoother and stops the squeaking! It’s really nice

Take aways from this vid. 1.) Dan is old man skater age but not so old man skater age as to have adopted art of carrying a whole friggin skateshop around with him. When I go skate, I have a bag with extra wheels, bearings, hardware, bushing, axle nuts, kingpins, errrythang. If it can get lost or broken, I have a spare. 2.) Dan is trying to buy thumbnails now at $100 a shot.

its the soft ones that blow out, mediums and particularly the hard ones last a really long time.

@@Labergemusic soft ones blow out either way. Dan had a video with Matthew showing his bones softs blown out and he rode them super tight. I used to ride the hard ones very loose, front truck jiggly, and they'd last the life of the trucks. I'm on a much more normal medium hardness, medium tightness setup and they are lasting. I think a big factor in them blowing out is when you are replacing bushings of different dimensions, they aren't ideal for all trucks.

Torey Pudwill actually didn’t us a slick board. He randomly went out and bout a 8.75 or 9 inch anti hero board specifically for the trick haha. So crazy. Especially since he usually skates something around a 7.75 or an 8.

i started buying the independent 96 super hard bushing after 2 sets of bones blew out like that but its turned out for the better because the 96 is way better with me being like 175lbs and liking loose trucks
