This would never work... Exotic rental car companies have trackers in all of their cars.

How did they hire the cars, venue and truck without some form of ID, credit card or paper trail, that would lead back to them if this was real?

This is why being someone that has zero remorse for human feeling is a good quality when being a con. Slick grab but more of a heist than a con... still very slick

At this point, these elaborate scams are borderline moronic with all the involved setup. They could with the same effort as this episode, do an equally stupid elaborate setup of literally anything, say they pose as a construction company and need to rent one of those gargantuan tunnel boring machines and have trucks set up all around the "construction site" for the poor, hapless "Marks" just being the poor delivery men of a massive tunnel boring machine. It's ridiculously stupid.

Just get on the phone to the police and tell them there is a transporter in the vicinity of the Falkirk Wheel with 4 expensive cars on it. There are so many parts of this that are edited or produced to make it seem like it was a slick operation and they got away with it. You would never get away with this but I suppose it makes for good TV.

Plot twist, the Marks have tracking devices in all vehicles

The get away was ok but flawed. The police could see that lorry a mile off. However if you would have used container trucks with a lining so that the car trackers are not detected then you would get away.

I can't believe they would part with keys to those cars, and surely they'd have gotten off the boat with them? The drivers also didn't seem that bothered, maybe another acting one 🚘

What bollocks....they could have simply went in to a car rental place and never returned with the cars. Even to book the first car for the shoot, they would have paid and given drivers license, ID and other proof of identity. Insured for theft so no big deal. Just to make bad tv they went through all that

I've owned a Ferrari 360 spider exact same colour but with cream interior and it was a Y Reg aswell lol and infact mine was 119,995 so more then 100k. I thought at the start of the video it was my old car, but diffarant interior and back bit where light's are. i owned it out right through real hard work. But jealous world can ruin everything and I've lost everything I once owned through hard work, because of scum. A lovely car if you ever get a chance to drive one it's awesome. I used mine every single day loved it.

Seems like there were a couple of modifications they could have made here. First, they could have parked their transport vehicle at another site. As soon as the boat is out of sight, move all the cars over to site B. That way, even if they're not finished loading the cars when the boat returns, the marks won't have a visual on them. Second, instead of a more conventional method of vehicle transport, load them into wood lined shipping containers, which are then loaded on to trucks. The containers can act as faraday cages to combat any GPS trackers, and also help keep the cars themselves from being seen by any witnesses or traffic cameras as they drive away.

Should have drove the vehicles off once the boat entered the tunnel to a different location and loaded elsewhere... Not so stressful . Hahaha....
