Have to say chinese shoes are actually really nice, been rocking some li-ning and anta shoes for a couple years and the price to quality is really nice. (i am norwegian so No chinese bias here either) reccomend People checking them out.
I am a Chinese, to be honest, almost all our domestic clothing and shoe brands lack quality but the good point is they are cheaper, the downside is unfortunatley they won't last long, I owned Anta and Nike and other brands, most of my anta shoes didn't made it more than a year, nike and addidas life is far far longer.
@@JigilJigil Really? My 30 yuan Warrior lasts 3 years already, and I have a pair of Anta running shoes, more than 2 years now and nothing wrong with it so far. You might bought a fake anta.
@@JigilJigil really? Am indonesian and have been wearing anta shoes for years. No problem for me. They r durable and comfy (yes, i have nike and adidas too). Just wonder if u wear the shoes wrongly - exp running shoes for hiking, etc
They'll never catch nike... nike been in the game for a long time... nike have and kno 30 yrs of experience over them meaning, nike kno all the ways and qualities that go's in a shoe🤷♂️
Yes Anta does make some really good gear,I have always been wearing Nike or Addidas. A recent trip to China I have brought a pair of Anta running shoes due to the quality but also well priced compared to its international peers. After wearing it for months, i can safely confirm that its one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Now that i am back to Australia, I am keen to get my next pair from the company, hopefully they will expand to here for more consumer choices.
As a fun of sneakers, who has more than 60 pair of shoes, I have to say Nike is good at marketing, something like creating interesting concepts, telling stories and finding good players, but about the products, they are good, but not outstanding, especially recent couple of years, nothing impressive.
What Ive noticed, and this is based on their basketball shoes, is that they dont make their shoes to last. A lot of their outsoles are made with super soft rubber which can be burned through pretty fast over time. Their best cushioning setups like phylon and react bottom out pretty fast.
making shoes is not a cutting edge tech industry, to make a little progress is very difficult, so companies are heavily rely on marketing(design, telling stories)
I paid 5 dollars Australian for a second hand pair of Reebok shoes from the charity shop in December. They are absolutely trashed but it cost me 3 cents a day to wear shoes👍
I bought KT3, 5 and 7. No complaints with 3 and 5. Solid shoes. But I found 7 the worse for my feet... my toenail went black because the midsole at the forefoot was thin. Bought Nike's Zoom G.T. Jump, and it is so much better. That said, it's my first Nike bball sheo since KT3 (2016), so I gotta say Anta is catching up really fast.
Not gonna lie, Anta shoes are comfy af. I used to be a Nike only type of dude, but once I tried the KTs.... my god. they are hella legit and in terms of durability, I see no difference between Nike shoes.
American companies basically do the same thing, making very similar foam by just lightly changing the chemical compound. Not the whats the problem here.
Xinjiang cotton harvesting are mainly done by machines. For hand picked ones, people outside of Xinjiang tend to take rails every year just to work in cotton field for quick bucks during harvesting seasons. lol US: Forcing machines to work 24/7, that's forced labour!
@@tokroni the last time china allowed western media to do that, they looked for an empty or quiet alley, put on a filter and started shooting, as if citizens have been wiped off or told not to go out 😂 not only that they looked for mosques that were under repairs/ constructions / temporarily closed / abandoned just to tell viewers that prayers are not allowed in Xinjiang 🤷 There are independent western RU-vidrs in china , you can find plenty of them on RU-vid btw, they made quite a number of videos about Xinjiang
NIKE and ADIDAS are made in China. Chinese entrepreneur adopted their tech and developed the new Chinese design sneakers at a cheaper price. It is beyond disappointed with the current sneaker design of Nike and Adidas. People bought the sneakers as pursuing the kitsch! Some classic sneakers were warmed cash-grab numerous times, along with the low quality and lack-character brand collaboration. I only love the old design, like ADIDAS THE KOBE 2, T-MAC 4 &4.5, AI 9, AI10, NIKE SHOX SERIES ETC
@@tomaszyarlett8681 sources of aging population and declining birth rate in China are also from the Chinese authorities. Based on your logic, you should not trust those data as well. China does not have a aging population problem and declining birth rate at all. They are lying
I have beeing using Anta KT 5, 6 ,7, 8 over the years and waiting for 9. On my experience playing in and out side courts, is better on materials, technology cushioning system, super durable outsole and price, Hard to Beat That !!!
I have some very light Anta running shoes. It is comparable with Hoka except 1/3 the price. I think China can make almost anything comparable for 1/3 the price. If it is half the price, it is usually a superior product.
I was teaching in China at a wealthy design school for 5 years. + 7 years work with Rich high schoolers in CA, I have never seen the Chinese brand on their feet or shoes collection . They only wear Nike, addidas, Van's or NB
Also A country that invaded and literally treats Muslims people as a terros..rist and the one running guantamo bay broo ...The main reason to lash out on xinjiyang is BRI Road
As a consumer , I don't care if the Chinese company copies their American counterpart. As long as the Chinese offering is cheaper..I'll still go to that.
someone's idea is someone else's gain. As far as marketing goes, you don't need top athletes to endorse the name brand, the sporting shoes aint gonna turn you into a superstar if you are nowhere near a pro athlete. It's the reliable sport science technology and own individual ideas and concepts that truly earn the right in the industry.
Guys, anyone truly believes that Chinese companies would employ people to pick cottons instead of using machines? That’s not the way to collect cotton in the 21 century. That’s too time consuming and efficiency is the key to making profits. Just because the US forced their slaves on plantation in the past, it doesn’t mean that other countries would follow their footprint, seriously. Plus, to this day, the US still uses forced labour in most of their correctional facilities, i mean jails, and by proportion, the US has most prisoners in the world. And by proportion, most of them are minorities, Mexicans and African Americans, talking about systemic racial discrimination and criminalisation.
Nike Basketball Shoes Technology like the Air Max system is very old. The design and outside appearance of the Nike is very old. Its going back into the early 1990's. Whereas, ANTA's shoe technology is very modern. Just watch the video and it was clearly explained how the tiny Nitrogen Bubbles where designed into the sole of the shoe. The design, material and the way the shoes has been built is the reason why Anta Shoes technology is way ahead than Nike.
In 2023, Anta signed Kyrie Irving so I think Kyrie will help increase Anta's brand awareness and shoe sales for the long term especially in their home country to better compete with Nike and other sports good companies
Nice comparison. Just note that the price of Nike one can be twice of the Chinese ones. Why not compare with a same price line there? Maybe PGs. That called the fair play to the customers, American business.
@@vanilkharbanda mate, they are about same price only in the US due to the high cost for the shipping and Tax put by the gov for protecting local brands. For the rest of world where no tax charged for self protection. KTs are like 30% off compare to LBJ line (before they are sent to outlets)
@@vanilkharbanda yeah, but the fact is that the American customers need to realise how much they have to pay for the policy makers (or Nike themselves)instead of the products. Nike has been quite arrogant and you have no other choice but paying for the worse product compared to past.
@@jamesgich1038 then don't wear them. Lol that's your choice, your opinion. According to people whose opinions matter, like weartesters and solebrothers, these are dope.
Anta is getting better and better all-around but it is a long way to be able to catch up with Nike. 30 years ahead of you means a lot of time and money has been invested into R&D and marketing.
When I was in college in China (around 2000), the only people that would buy Anta were those that wanted a decent pair of sport shoes but could not afford 'western' brands, because a pair of Anta typically costed 150 Chinese dollars while Adidas/Nike easily over 400. I would never buy Anta because my generation would never see Anta as a brand of technology/quality or fashion.
