I'm a singer, not even near the quality and clarity of Freddie, but to even know that there's another male SOMEWHERE in the world that hit the same notes as he did is WAY COOL! Yes, Freddie, God rest his soul, was amazing. The fact that a group of men HONORED him by covering his best known song is wonderful. Remember, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" - so if you're a Queen fan, be flattered that they honored Freddie. Their notes might not have been perfect, but it was in homage!
I don't get why people are so mean and so empty!!! This was an absolutely extraordinary performance. Not that they needed ten man, they wanted 10 man. It was so much more then Freddie. It was an unbelievable work or art. For those who never sang on a stage, or in a real vocal group, you have no idea how hard is this to be put together so perfectly.
This is one the many examples why Freddie is the KING. Nice cover, nice singing yes. But when Freddie started with: Mamaaa I've killed a man .. we could feel it.
They're great. Tenors aren't sopranos like the late great Freddie and they can't the lower ranges; thus it's different. It's still a great performance. Love the Abba tribute.
