Not a titans fan and no I don’t think they’ll win the division or anything but outside of the Derrick Henry loss, the titans did nothing but improve. You didn’t even mention that bill callihan is there and is one of the best o line coaches in the league, nor did you mention what could happen if the coaching staff ends up being good or not. The titans have arguably a top 15-12 WR trio in the league and a pretty clear top 10 corner trio, only 4 players who played more than 400 snaps last year allowed 0 TDS and the titans have 2 of them: Sneed and Rodger McCreary their slot cb. They have holes at edge, TE and Line backer but if will levis preformed they should have a competitive roster as far as the regular season goes.
Clearly someone that has never watched a Titans game in his life, just goes off MSM talking points. Last year the Titans had a harder schedule and went 6-11 but you think after all the big additions the Titans finish 5-12? Delusional... Ryan Tannehill started 9 games last year and did nothing at all, then Levis started and turned the team into a almost contender with a bight future. Titans had the worst receiving core last year, worst OL, no run game, and one of the worst secondary's but still only lost by 1 score in 90% of there games. You think the Titans will have a bottom 5 OL after the additions and adding Bill Callahan which is one of the best OL coaches in the NFL? Delusional again. Titans might struggle a little off the start but by mid season i see them going on a streak.
I love how everyone hopes on Strouds junk. How many QBs have had outstanding rookie seasons and steadily declined every yr till the retired and how many QBs have had mediocre or horrible rookie seasons and have become good and even HOF
As a titans fan i honestly dont get why we always get sooooo much hate even though these signings and stuff are improvements from last year. We won 6 games last year u think we not winning above that?
They added more playmakers so how does Tennessee suck!!!!! They need time to get it together!!!! It was all about Henry n the running game back then when he was there now they changes will levis can spread the ball out with more offensive weapons it makes it easier for qb will levis!!!!! I do think Tennessee should add another good running back incase tony pollard gets injured they need someone to compliment Tyjae Spears who can be good enough!!!! Devonta formen Tennessee should of kept because he was developing into a good complimentary back back then and was a starter at times when Henry was out years ago!!!! So i do think it was a mistake not resigning him years ago!!!!!
Bro this one of the worst uninformed videos I’ve ever seen. If you think the Titans have a bottom 5 offense and defense then you should never watch football again. They are probably going to win 9 or 10 games. They might have the best WR room in the league and probably have the best RB room. Their secondary and defensive lines are also both very good. They have an upcoming superstar QB and will have the most improved OL in the NFL. But you’ll see in a few months. You’ll have to probably delete this video lol 😂
Vrabel wanted complete control over everything like a bill would and he didn’t even have winning seasons the last two years sure did our old him screw us over by trading Aj yes and vrabel didn’t have anything to do with that but still it was his time to go he was never getting a coach/gm spot as what he did good coach just not the right coach we need rn and will always respect the man Titan up
Titans dropped Vrabel because he thinks old school and doesn't get along with anyone, if he got his way he would of had 3 different GM's in 6 years but that didn't happen and Miss Amy put a stop to his power trip. Why do you think no other team hired him? Because of what happened in Tennessee......... Plus the Titans was a playoff team when they hired him and every year the W/L record went from 12-5 to 6-11.
Tannehill has fallen off. He is not even on a team . Everyone talks about Vrabel as this great coach. Then explain why is it he didn't get a head coaching job? There were only eight jobs available! Vrabel is supposed to be a defense guy, right? So why was our secondary trash for three years? The d line was good, but that was it! Yeah the guy who made this video just has trash content! Sincerely it is hot garbage content!
😂 i swear y'all bloggers are fried ... Its ok because this time last year ppl were making these type of videos about the Texans, now yall sucking the Texans off one year later 😂
respect, this division is gonna be a fun one, this channel has never made a positive video about the Titans they just make it clear every 2 months how much they hate us 😂
@@datelessdark4763 Titans should of beat the colts last year but missed a easy FG that went into OT.. Even with the horrid offense around Levis and a terrible secondary, but its most likely fixed this year. Titans probably finish 2nd this year.
insane to complement our offense for 5 straight minutes and our receivers are dhop calvij ridley and tyler boyd and say that we are a bottom 5 offensive unit, literally made this video for clicks and us titans fans fell for it
@@oomshaka6683 so an average QB with a bad OL and one dependable Wr can't do better with better WR and better OL play?? Heck, give that to Mason Rudolph and this Titans team can be better than last season...
@@oomshaka6683 : I’ll take a broken down Boyd at #3 over Westbrook ikine or Burks who were number 2 and 3 last season… the best player on the OL last season was a rookie guard …LT last season was the biggest issue regardless of who was there. The right side the OL was actually ok all things considered. Bill Callahan is there anyway to make sure the OL will look respectable...on pride alone, I don't see how Bill let the mess of last season continue in any shape of form this season...
My man, the Titans are making steps in the right direction. It takes some time, but don’t listen to this guy sometimes. He called my Bears a dumb franchise when they traded for montez swear
Crown us 👑. We are 180 from last yrs Titans!!! It's impressive what they have been able to do , in such little time. I know it's unproven at this point... But on paper, and in theory ... You can see why they made the moves they have. Will Levis needs some development, yes, and Callihan can do that! He is a proven QB whisperer. Improved supporting cast, improved coaching/play calling, and a better (more modern) philosophy with a throw heavy offense... That leans towards Levis' strengths ... Very exciting.... I don't know what you looking at ? Lol
You guys are very delusional to be frank. You are not better than the Colts or Texans. It’s honestly a toss up between who is gonna be the 4th team in the division between Tennessee and Jacksonville. That’s if and only TLaw doesn’t have a bounce back year.
That's not realistic at all, more likely to be a .500 team considering the all new staff, Will Levis, Questionable O-line and D-Line and bad Linebackers
@@osirisiona7368colts are absolutely not dog shit. Not even a fan. They were one game away from making the playoffs last year with a backup qb and they’ve only gotten better. Soooo you trollin or?
Listen, I’m a titans fan and I’ve seen our team get slandered time and time again in the media but this is just atrocious. You start off the video by going over all of Tennessee’s offensive improvements only to immediately turn around five minutes in and call them a bottom five offense for no other reason but your “not feeling it” and that “they’re not exciting”. We signed a top corner, a top 15 receiver, retooled our entire offensive system, and did the same to the defense. What do we need to do to fit your arbitrary criteria of being exciting or interesting? Do we need to bring Tom Brady out of retirement? Maybe use a Time Machine to bring back prime jerry rice and randy moss? This is the same narrative that the national media uses to discredit us as well even if it has no basis as a logical argument and is predicated entirely on personal bias. Nobody will respect us until we win a super-bowl and build a dynasty because no matter the improvements we make it simply won’t be enough until we win it all. And that’s exactly what this team is built to eventually accomplish. Levis has the physical potential to become an elite franchise quarterback. His biggest problems are his ability to read routes and deal with pocket pressure at the nfl level which wasn’t helped by having one reliable receiver last year (Hopkins) and the worst o-line in the league. Callahan was specifically hired to fix this issue. He understands how to mold an elite quarterback from his experience with joe burrow and Peyton manning and he’s already commented on how high he is on levis’s potential as an elite QB. He has the grit and willingness to improve that most Elites eventually develop only he’s in his second year not not several deep already. Levis has serious potential to be the best QB in this division and possibly the league if he can temper his more bellicose tendencies in the pocket and improve his ability to read routes. Callahan is also the polar opposite of Mike Vrabel who was everything wrong with the titans. Vrabel was a defensively minded coach that ran an archaic offense based entirely off of Derrick Henry’s ability to run the ball in a league that’s now based on passing. Predictably the titans stagnated and were never able to evolve beyond a minor contender compared to the bills of chiefs in the afc. Callahan is the exact opposite, and understands how to run a modern nfl offense based off of an incredibly effective passing game and that’s exactly what the titans front office has constructed. Signing Calvin Ridley was probably the best improvement in this area aside from hiring Callahan himself, as the titans biggest problem has been creating spacing downfield. D-hop is still great but he’s not able to do much under constant double coverage with a supporting cast of injury prone rookies like Phillips and burks. Ridley fixes this problem as he quite literally specializes in burning secondaries with his speed and route running to create space and open up the field for other receivers like D-Hop who can now stop worrying about being double covered and be even more effective. Boyd adds to this system by being a reliable 3rd option that puts up consistent numbers and already understands how Callahan runs an offense from his time in Cincinnati. That’s helped Levis and the rest of the offense get used to Callahans schemes quicker than normal, something Levis has already commented on at OTA’s. Boyd isn’t great but in this system he can be a solid and good receiver that provides an easy escape hatch for Levis if the pocket collapses and neither Ridley or Hopkins are open. Burks, Phillips, and Westbrook, all serve as decent to inconsistent backups who may still have some developmental potential but have yet to show it. Burks has the most but has been chronically injured for his first two seasons. If that changes he still can possibly be a good receiver (Ridley himself said this at OTA’s) but we need to see healthy consistency before drawing that conclusion. The running back room is also looking great. Pollard is not meant to be a clear cut rb1. Titans fans have been screaming this for weeks (something the media seems to ignore) since the running back room has been built around a committee of spears, pollard, and chestnut. Each brings their own skills to the table but all have the ability to fit into the pass game on top of running which is what the new titans offense needs. Three running backs also allows the titans to keep their opponents on their toes since all three can play in different ways and confuse opposing defenses if their switched in and out between plays while keeping fresh weapons always ready for Levis. The line has also seen massive improvements for one reason, Bill Callahan. Brians father, and possibly the greatest O-line coach of past 30 years, bill provides veteran leadership and elite training to Tennessees young and talented new o line. Skoranski showed potential as the only consistently good piece from last year and cusshenberry was one of the best centers from last year. Last year bill also turned the browns o line into an immovable machine so these guys should see massive improvements in the offseason. Latham was also specifically handpicked by bill OVER Joe alt of all people meaning he has serious potential as a left tackle under bills guidance. This all means that the titans o line should see the o line improve somewhat at the very least if not become a great and elite unit over time under bills guidance, great enough to protect Levis and give him time to throw. Defensively, the titans have seen major improvements at corner and at coordinator. Obviously we signed sneed and awuzie, sneed being one of the best in the game and awuzie a great corner two that can work well with roger mcreary (the only good corner the titans had last year). However, most importantly the titans signed Denard Wilson as their DC. Wilson was the cornerback coach for the raven last year and he turned them into a shut down unit that consistently shut down passing offenses. Ina division with supposedly great passing attacks denard could prove to be a dangerous coach that can put up a brick wall against opposing qbs with one of the best corner rooms in the league on paper. Up front he still has Simmons, Landry, and most of the titans old pieces, along with new guys like Kenneth Murray and Sweat. If they pan out the Titans line and front will match their corner room and prove to still be an elite front under denard. Keep in mind the titans still have enough cap space to fill their only remaining hole on defense at safety by signing a free agent like Justin Simmons so the offseason isn’t over for them yet in that regard. When you put that all together I fail to see how we aren’t “exciting”. We’re a whole new team from last year with proven coaches and on paper I’d argue that we’re vastly better than both the colts and jags and possibly even the Texans. None of those teams have the defensive firepower to match the titans defense and I would remind you that last year the titans almost won 6 of the games they lost by one score. With vast improvements on literally every side of the ball I believe that they will be a playoff team as either the wildcard or as the division champion. I see them winning 10-11 games and sweeping the jags and trading with the Texans and colts. We didn’t “try to improve”, we did and it’s time we show the rest of the league why they should recognize that.
5-12, youre telling me with a better roster, were doing worse than last year Best believe Im comin back to yo ass for this video in the coming months. Crazy how you improve on paper from a historically bad roster and somehow regress in everyone else’s minds, lol
@@osirisiona7368Latu and Mitchell are both starters, and Richardson returns healthy. No big free agent pickups but their team wasn’t bad like the Titans last year, so they don’t need to have a flashy free agency like some people lol
What are this guy talking about? Just shut up about the Tennessee Titans We had more better free agency than your team this year and who is your NFL team 😅
All I'll say is this, of the 11 games we lost last season, 5 of them we lost by one score and 2 of them we lost in overtime. All that with arguably the worst o-line in the league, bad coaching, only 1 bonafide weapon at receiver, and a rookie quarterback who came in at almost the middle of the season. And yet we nearly won 7 more games and if we did win those we would have been 13-4 tying the Ravens for the best record in the league. Now we have an improved o-line, the best offensive line coach of all time at the helm, more receivers, more defensive weapons, one of the top defensive coordinator candidates on the market this free agency, the top wr and cb on the market, a solid center, kept a lot of solid guys from last year's roster, drafted a lot of guys with potential to be studs and this guy thinks we're gonna do worse than last year?! Bro just say you hate the Titans and leave it at that, don't try to bullshit your way around it and act like you got analytical evidence which you clearly don't. Now I don't think we'll go to the Superbowl or anything like that this season, I don't even know if we win the division, we have a hard schedule. But to act like we're not at least going to be a lot better than last year despite all the off-season moves we made is just disingenuous and plain dishonest.
We drafted him with zero plan or staff to develop him. I love Levis, so excited to have him but I genuinely feel for Malik Willis and what could've been.
Mason is much better than Levis. Titans still have a chance if they bench Levis. What would it hurt to give Mason one start at this point. The Steelers got a big surprise when they were forced to start Mason on game 15 last year and he lead the Steelers to their best offensive performance in over 2 years. Then Mason did it again the very next week in Seattle. Another 30 point game. "HE WHO HESITATES IS LOST!" Mason's 14 starts is 8 x 5 and 1 Mason's QBR was 118 on his reg. season 3 starts last year. Will Levis 12 starts is 3 x 9 His QBR is 67.3 on his first 3 games of 2024. Wake up Callahan you made a good decision by signing Mason. Use him!
Excuse me did you say BOTTOM 5 offense? That was a joke right? How many offenses have 2 1000 yard receivers plus a 700 yard 3rd WR? Not to mention Pollard was coming back from a broken foot and Spears is extremely explosive. Bill Callahan won’t have an impact on an improved OLine? Don’t get me wrong, I can’t knock your hustle for making videos but this is terrible analysis.
Have some self-respect, J&D. Writing stupid headers you don't even believe in for clicks is a short-term loser strategy. I'll actively avoid J&D videos in the future.
We end up winning the superbowl, “The titans are a dangerous team where did this team come from?” That’s what you gone be saying once we end up winning the superbowl
This is why you don't give everybody a platform because they think they are content creators but they just looking for something to feel good about their self how do you know the Titan suck when you don't even watch the Titans night in and night out sit down somewhere
😂😂 you had to been just trying to get clicks 😂 how tf we gone be still a bottom 5 offense if we improved in every part of the offense we sucked last year this literally made no sense… it’s obvious you ain watch a game because if we being honest if levis had this WR and same oline we would a one bout 8 games we just literally had ONLY hop and have one WR and a terrible LT n oline u will suck
J&D Listen this is how your audience loses faith in you, don’t make content just for outrage clicks. I hope you just wanted the clicks because this is a horrible take. I am never clicking on one of your videos ever again.
I guess we should go back to the same ol 3 yards and cloud of dust offense and bring back Tannehill ? LOL What a lazy take not taking into consideration the overhaul in coaching. I can understand being disappointed that Vrabel was let go and J Rob left him quite a mess but he had his flaws specially how his coordinators were his yes men...
losing mike vrabel is a blessing in disguise i remember the vid of him in the locker room saying the difference between us and the rest of the league is derrick henry. he was a toxic asshole constantly saying that we dont pass the ball often because we cant, they didnt pass the ball cuz he and the offensive coordinator couldnt work together to make a gameplan that works to the strengths of his players but this squad we have now has already proven they know how to play to the strengths of their players and titans DO NOT suck my guess is they get 8 to 9 wins minimum tho im hoping to see an explosive 11 win season if will levis can prove he is that franchise guy and surrprise everyone including myself lol but all in all they definitely dont suck at all
J&D must be a Texan or Jags fan. Dude still thinks firing Vrabel and his incompetent staff was a mistake, so what else needs to be said? The Titans will be better on both sides of the ball. Nothing else needs to be said yet, but we'll see how it plays out.
Dumbest take on this new team I've seen all year. Tell me what else does this team need to do to be an exciting team? This team is way better than the team we fielded last year on paper and some how we will be worse? The fuq outta here.
