The only reggae artist my father commented on because he sang "Tell me who's gonna praise Jehovah" since he was having trouble following the song until he heard Jehovah. RIP Pop and Clive 🙏🏽
Most unique voice in dancehall never heard no one sound like him rip tenor saw wish you were still alive to see where u would reach with that great voice

I'm a white English kid who loves Tenor Saw and his music. My favourite reggae artist and the artist who I really started listening to reggae music largely because of. R.I.P., great doc, thanks for posting, peace!
@@AS-wj1du I have met him. In Manchester England in 1985 after he performed on stage. I still have his autograph, one of my most treasured possessions. RIP Tenor Saw, dancehall legend.

As much as I was a young young youth not much more than 7 back then your music sure did hit me and catch my attention the vibe and energy and your voice was one of a kind. May you r.i.p. Tenor saw a legend lost too soon 🙏🏽💚🖤💛
He was very humble I had the opportunity to meet him when he was in Miami staying at a house I'm my neighborhood I was only 15 or 16. This was the time when he was playing at a big stage show called "Heat in the Place" many jamaican singers performed such as yami bolo when he was very young, supacat, nicodemus and a few others. The home was either owned or rented by a popular Jamaican name Skengdon.
His voice and music were/are still some of my favorite pieces of music. Definitely a part of my childhood. So sad that we have to miss out on all the music he would have made.
Mine too. I'm 52 this year. My cousin ran sound system, and sometimes from my home, so grew up on these tune. My brother truly thought he was the UK's answer to Tenor Saw (in his own mind, only 😆). May he be singing with that wonderfully unique voice, along with the angels choir.
Such a sad end to a young life, such a talented young man. May your soul rest in peace 🙏🏽 Tenor Saw 🙏🏽. Who ever murdered you I hope that, they are living torment.
One of a kind Mr saw....heard he was a kind hearted giver he and my uncle use to par wen tenor saw was hot. He and my uncle use to mess around sound systems in those times... My uncle was a sound man before he migrated to the USA in early 1987 one year before saw was laid to rest. Rip tenor saw 😭😭😭 sigh its so sad how u died
The person who disliked this video should be investigated by the FBI. Why would you disliked this documentary? Why? I can't understand the logic. Tenor Saw is in my top 10 of the best Reggae artistes of all time. He a legend.
I only heard of the name Tenor Saw today, I dont remember hearing his name before, however, I have heard all of these songs before. Great music, he has been dead over twenty five years ago, I am sad to hear how he died. Love these songs. Rip.
It really is unsettling how many of these reggae artists - and how frequently - end in such tragic demises. Also, how often they end up penniless when reggae is such a profitable, globally embraced enterprise and has been so for multiple decades. Curious.
Every sound clash,,, always banged this Kings dub plates,,, they used to make man's dem lick down wall's and speaker box,,,, Rest with the Best ♥️💛💚👊🏾✊🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
He was such a great Artist his voice was so distinct I love all his music sorry he pass away so young. First time seeing this channel God bless you on your work
I agree. Listening to those who know him, he was a good person and always stood up for himself and others as he knew what he had been through to get to where he was. I'm sad he died, its not fair. But I believe his loved ones will see him again. May he rest in peace xxx
nice upload... somebody should put together a dvd of all these tenor saw live shows and release it proper... i would definately part with cash for that...
whats wrong with black people... they fail to protect their own princes and princesses...kings and queens....this tragedy of tenor saw...not forgetting many others is enough to make us EXPOLDE with anger and questions UNTILL SOMEONE ANSWERS WHAT AHPPENED TO HIM....SO MUCH LOSS SO... MUCH PAIN... AND WE STILL SIT AND SAY EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT?
Maybe it was because he decided to stay in America and not make anymore records, perhaps someone wanted more out of him..he was a money maker who decided to take a break maybe others didnt agree with his decision. Def something to think about. I love his music and all the music that came out in the late 80s and 90 was the best!!!
@@Wilcoranking I'm not sure they'd kill him for that. I heard someone who knew him talking about when he went missing and they were looking for him. He had been in the morgue or dead house as Jamaicans say. But no one could identify him. But then they heard and his friend's sister identified him when she went to the morgue
Life is one big road with a lot of signs... my favorite song of his. I had the vinyl 12 inch. He was hanging around Addie’s sound on Schenectady Ave, Brooklyn NY in the 1980s and where I met him. Back then, the crack and cocaine use were heavy and he was on drugs. He left for Texas and that’s when I heard he was killed. So sad he didn’t have the guidance and a manager back then. He had a son in Brooklyn they used to call “Nine-a-saw.”
