I stumbled across this two years ago during the height of the pandemic and it's been a favorite since. I can't say I only play it around the holiday season, because I listen to this all year round lol. This is by far the best rendition of this classic that I've heard. Such emotion and heart poured into this. I get chills every time at the big moment before the end.

Everyone has their opinion, their own taste...but I disagree about Victor "carrying" the trio. I do agree they were stronger as a quartet. I personally find Fraser to have the warmest and more beautiful voice. Clifford has both a softer and sometimes piercing sound (listen to "Forever Young"), and for me Victor's voice - admittedly powerful and rich - is too often too "almost"-operatic, which I feel doesn't always meld well with the others'. And I too miss the sonorous beauty of Remi's glorious instrument mixing into the melodies...

It's a shame Remigio couldn't keep his political mouth shut but the Tenors are just as good as they ever were. Pereira tried to sabotage the quartet but only made the trio stronger and more vibrant. They're still my favorites. Love you guys. Merry Christmas and, thank you.

Opals Boy - do some research.....check out "TRUTH - LIKE A LION IN THE ROOM" . Trio as you call them are not nice people, they sold their brother down the river. They owe Remigio his share of the business and royalties and 1year 8 months still not paid. They are arrogant and big headed. Please check out above "Truth Like a Lion in the Room"

perhaps Remigio picked the wrong forum to express his beliefs, the only reason its was so controvertial was because it was in the USA, BLM just milked it for everything it could...however I couldn't believe the backlash, and the way the 3 STOOGES handled it. I hope they bring him back, his voice was the strongest...I heard the recording of the meeting afterwards. Backstabbers! They're off my list!

You are so right Opal's Boy, and good for you for speaking up. I often wonder what would have happened if Remi had pulled that stunt in a football stadium instead of a baseball stadium. I'm sure Remi's band of misguided fans would have expected the other 3 to lay down their lives for him because for reasons I don't understand, he has them believing he walks on water.

Opal's Boy remi wasnt trying to sabotage the group...the oposite...he was trying to bring people together...however when you hear the audio afterwards you clearly hear how these guys try to deceive the public with a bullshit story of mental illness....and blm of course milked it for what it was worth. Remi is laubched a solo career...while tge tinheads try to sneak by without his superior vocals..outside of using his recordings of his voice..truuth is out...theyll be on the birthday party circuit soon.

They should change it to Backstabbing Friends that are near and dear to us..., these guys should practice in life what they sing. Fraser is sure laying it on thick, being a little over dramatic with the microphone. Clifton's voice works well since it has a Femish level to it. Victor should put a string of lights on his fedora, make him easier to look at. Knuckle tap, slicing the pie 3 ways instead of 4 now. jingle jazz your delusional. I’d say the throwing under the bus was what was done to them on national TV. Don’t believe everything your told by petty, butthurt little guys who don’t like consequences of being unprofessional. His politics have no place during performances..especially when he was previously warned about it. He got what he wanted...and deserved...and almost destroyed the careers of all of them. The difference is they regrouped and went on. He’s been having a nasty pity party of his own and killed his career.

Over the years I've come to hate this song a lot! Doesn't matter who sings it either. When a nurse has to work shifts, she has to wait her turn for seniority! Seniority my highnee! I can only recall being home with my family twice and then have to listen to this song??? I don't think so! We get what we deserve!
