I love Tenpai. They made Master Duel so refreshing. Never in any season had I the opportunity to play so many cheese decks that only work going first. Of course I get some non-games but I've never went to M1 from D5 so fast
1:52 I would pay money to hear Josh say something like this at a YCS except replaced with more tcg appropriate langauge like "I feel like I rolled the die well"
Would have to guess using Rank-3 shenanigans! You can stack the Phantom Knights rank up magic spell on top of your deck with Number 71 : Rebarian Shark's GY effect, and then draw it with Xyz Armor Torpedo's detach effect, and finally using it on a Dark Rank 3 Xyz Monster with no materials left into Evilswarm Ophion without having to actually run.. "Ilswarms" lol 😂
Can you please play TCG tenpai? Against Centurion, Fireking etc show the matchups, how to aproach deckbuilding against these top tiers and mirror? Maybe also a budget tenpai version as well as a video idea. Thanks, Joshua! Keep going with this channel!
Not sure if this where I should ask this but what are your thoughts on scareclaw I have 2 different variants I run and never here it talked about i even heard a person say it's a rouge deck but once you know how to pilot deck there is no way it can be run my worst match up are second into stun decks because I need to setup my removal/pop cards. Also I'm a masterduel player i have 2 different deck list if you want to see how I run it
I felt good that even a (washed) world champ also missclicks sometimes In all seriousness some Tenpai hands just literally cannot break your opponent's board going second which is quite funny
i was afraid when i heard of tenpai in best of 1 then my win rate went up and up until it reached 80% and now i see that tenpai is actually good for best of 1 for everyone who enjoys honest non floodgate trap decks. that there is on top now also all those game where you don't need to worry about the coinflip is also great
ngl, I was looking away for a moment the first time you summoned Bident Dragon and said "Summon Joe Biden..." and I looked up thinking "What?? Does Tenpai play Jioh the Gravity Ninja as a weird tech card I didn't know about or something???"
i like tenpai on the basis that it is dragon deck with cool dragons, but.. the gameplay... you essentialy know that you won and there is nothing opp can do at certain point, it is stale, got bored really uquick
I recently heard someone complain that Yugioh has become too hard. Obviously this person hasn't played Tenpai, I got a 9 game winstreak in the duel triangle event and that felt good for a going second deck. You still have to know when the handtrap and be patient with when to activate droplet, but other than that is really easy and powerful, and knowing certain ruling helps a lot, for example, Ash Blossom and Imperm can't be used in the damage step, so using the effects of the dragons there works pretty well, specially with Fadra, since I see that people use it on normal summon.
