A trip to The Tent to spend the night and fix the chimney on The Backwoods Cabin workshop. We also get Dads DVD player working again. I try to catch a "fish for dinner" but fail. Pork steaks on the campfire were delicious.
I love that you fix everything for your Dad, I'm sure he is so relieved and what a great son you are, it seem small but these are the beautiful moments in life you can't get back. Much love and blessings to you and your family.
I don't normally make any comments, I just enjoy watching your vids and have for years but I just had to say that since your Dad had te operation he is like a new man. He looks great 👍
Joe , you’re an awesome man you help your father fix this chimney at the workshop fixtures DVD player you’re the man I like how you were going out fission but you didn’t catch nothing. I will tell you cook your steaks that’s awesome. I can’t wait to see your next video.
Joe likes Gunsmoke and Joe’s dad likes John Wick! We all have our favorite shows. Boy that’s fishing sometimes there biting and sometimes you can’t catch a cold!
It always seems to be the way that when you really need to catch a fish they aren't hungry.I think you should light your fires any damn way you please. 👍
I love seeing your dads place, he's an artist when it comes to carpentry. I'm sure he's relieved to have his chimney fixed, it can be frustrating when you can no longer just do things yourself and have to depend on others.
Another reason I really like your Dad, he loves John Wick movies.😎. To bad not getting any fish, but relaxing nonetheless. Relaxing video, tent, helping Dad, fishing, cooking, Gunsmoke, Lake, campfire who could ask for anything more. Hi to Melissa. Blessings to you both.😊🇺🇲
your right about the fires I live in Edmonton AB as far as you can go west of the city the fires are out of control losing alot of forest the skys at night are orange I pray for all the familys that lost there entire homes .
Joe if I was you, I'd have a few more rods in the boat. I rigged with your spin bait, another with a lazy ike, and another with a plastic jig. And maybe 1 with a big Rapala and 1 rigged with a hook and live bait. Then you can switch without taking the time to rehook. Bolt some PVC pipe to the side of the boat for extra rod holders and net holder. Just some ideas for you 😁
Man Joe I wish I was up there helping you guys sure looks beautiful were your property is its nice you can help your parents you both are so skilled at carpentry take care and always God bless.
It would have been nice to see what you did behind that tree on the roof Joe! 😂 Talk about working behind the bushes! Great to see your dad, and always nice to follow along to the tent. Hope the rain comes to Canada soon. Have a great weekend Joe!
Perfect reason to go back to the tent. Yeah lighter fluid works just fine. As long as people know how to do so if fluid is not available. A nice quick and pleasant trip to the tent.
I used to work for the cable company, and I had to reprogram my mom and dad‘s consul TV every so often. And show them how to use the remote over and over again . I begged them not to get cable , because I worked in the repair department at the time. Later my dad wanted the golf channel so I gave him, a gift and paid for it. My mom wasn’t really happy about it she didn’t really like the golf channel ..😉🤭😁🕊❤️🙏🏻🌈💯 My dad loved the western channel too. ❤ They are both Gone since 2008.
Love watching this………as Kids we had a holiday hut……..grandparents had it handed down to my dad……..it was in a farmers field……with other huts…………..loved my child holidays with those memories…………then a big storm in the 60’s blew the roof off and that was the last of our holidays away for seven kids………we live in Glasgow Scotland our hut was in gartaharne near Loch Lomond………….I’m now 65 and still miss it but watching you in the tent reminds of my childhood………are you bothered with mice? At all. Anyway love all your video’s 🏴🏴🏴🌈🌈🌈🏴🏴🏴🌈🌈🌈💕
Seems very obvious you need your good luck charm with you!!! Good to see your dad. Looks like he is still getting around really good again. Liked to see you spend some time with him. You will never regret that. 😁😁😁
Your dad seems to be back in great shape! Kudos 👏 I wish him and all of yours the best! P.S. If you ever do build a cabin to replace The Tent...don't. I can't think of a better setup than you've already got. It's my personal ideal "heaven on Earth" 😊👍
Good afternoon Joe. Last week we were in Michigan to see my family and to vacation in the UP. When we crossed the Mackinaw Bridge and is was shrouded in smoke. Could barely see the top of the towers. Just really sad. Thanks for sharing your vedios
Hey Joe- Any chance you can go back to the old set of keys I miss the sound when your driving! It’ll be like the old black truck! Great video love seeing you work w your dad!
Ole Joe - Smart aleck, LOL had to catch yourself huh. Great to see your Pops spending time up at the Backwoods Cabin. Any sign of moose or bear so far this year? Wont be long and deer season will be upon us.
Oh man,i so wanted you to catch a big fish.. Damn it.. When the Thunder happened i laughed so hard,i rewound the video a few times to see it again..Lol.. That was a good one.. The vacuum would still work just not the beater bar.. But it's a good idea to come back to the Tent to put a belt on.. Maybe you can catch a Lunker.. Stay safe my friend.🤓👍🤓👍.Randy.
I was curious if any of the cast members were still alive from the 1950s TV series Gunsmoke in 2023. I found out that Buck Taylor who played Deputy Marshall Newby O'Brian from 1967-1975 was still living. He is 85 and he more recently was on Yellowstone from 2018-2022. I suspect some child guest stars are probably still living but I did not hunt those down.
The last time you brought a vacuum belt you only purchased one, probably should order a few spares given the age of that cleaner. great vids. I posted the comment of where you could find that free artesian water.
We have only had one 90 degree day this summer. My weather station showed 90.8 one day. Last night it got down to 48. Most nights this summer have been in the low 50s and mid 40s.
I am not fisherman. It has been years since I tried to fish but I think it depends upon how the wind blows unless you are Jimmy Houston. He is good friends with a channel I watch in Oklahoma and it never fails when he takes Daniel and his son Houston fishing on his lake they always seem to catch a couple of bass. I guess it depends upon what type of fish you are trying to catch? You are an intrepid Campfire aficionado?
Wrong bait for pike. Try a Meps #3 or #4, black blade with yellow dots and the bucktail. Then slow your retrieve by half. Give it a try, I dare you to.
Oh please. If you have watched this channel for any amount of time you have seen me catch hundreds of pike on this lake using my white spinner baits. If you put a mepps on you will get weeds every time this time of year. Everyone says to slow down my retrieve but NO. I paid good money to get a baitcaster with a 5:4:1 ratio so I can retrieve the speed you watch me do. Any slower and it will hit bottom and grab weeds before it gets to the boat. The baits you are talking about do work in the spring before the weeds but I am still always going to use my spinner baits or a johnson silver minnow.
@@JoeandZachSurvival sorry for giving you info that I've used for over 40 years. Would be nice to see you actually cook some fish or wild game sometime because pork chops, burgers and brats get pretty repetitive. Fish camp....pork chops, duck camp......pork chops, deer camp.....pork chops. Honestly I do enjoy your videos and watch them as soon as you post.
