It’s funny you mention the idea of Stallone and Arnold in the same film pre-Expendables, because I myself have often thought about the prospect of Schwarzenegger (and this is not a slight against Dolph Lundgren, who was great in the role) playing opposite Sly in Rocky IV. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite “What If” scenarios. 🤔🤔🤔
Fun Fact: Superman himself Christopher Reeve was considered for the role of Kyle Reese and Lori Loughlin (Becky from *"Full House")* was considered for Sarah J. Connor, before they went with Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. On a side note, both Christopher & Lori were also considered for Richard & Emmeline Lestrange in the 1980 remake of *"THE BLUE LAGOON"* (given to Christopher Atkins & Brooke Shields) and Bruce Wayne/"Batman" & Vicki Vale in Tim Burton's *"BATMAN"* (given to Michael Keaton & originally Sean Young and then Kim Basinger).
Nice glad you guys are reacting to this review hopefully you react to the others he did he went through all the terminator movies and also hope you guys react to his spider man month reviews where he reviewed all the spider man movies from Tobey Maguire to Andrew Garfield.
Mortal Kombat gets a plus plus for making fun of T1's love scene themselves even though it's a small joke. "I've come across time for you" "Why? Because you lOvE mE?" "To terminate you"
I'm glad the procedure went well, I hope your recovery is as quick as when Reverse Flash jerked off the flash at super speed so he thought he busted to a womans touch!
I think Nate might've been thinking about that one but I do remember something along those lines happening back in 2011 or 2012. Go figure it was also in California.
24:52 Funny thing is that whole rant sounds more like what an adult John Connor would say than any of the generic dialogue written for him in the rest of the movie! 😎 Who’s with me?
I’m always amazed at the wardrobe choices for movies set in California, in any time period. It’s 30 degrees in January. Why is everyone dressed like they’re preparing for a snowstorm? Even Vanilla Ice in Cool As Ice wore a ski jacket in California. Is it just cool to stink of sweat?
The Terminator 1 is pretty much a Horror Movie (I mean a Killing Machine from The Future that’s look like a Giant Hulking Human being that want nothing but terminated a young woman, that’s creepy)
Salvation was....alright but felt like a generic post apocalyptic action movie. 3 had it's moments that made me think "oh that's neat" but overall very meh. We don't talk about Genesis and Dark Fate unless we're making fun of them. Terminator is one of those franchises that should've stopped at 2 because everything beyond was a downward spiral. My brother and I made so many jokes about the terminator being married in that last film. Dude could've been living in the woods alone and it would've made more sense. I think that was the last one. Maybe it's genesis I'm thinking of.
So I’ve noticed something with opinions on these films. Everyone likes 1 and 2. Nobody likes Salvation or Genesis. With 3 and DF there’s always one you think is absolute garbage and one is “meh/okay”. And oddly enough, I’ve actually identified a correlation with that and the first two: People who prefer T2 to T1 tend to be easier on T3 and despise DF. People who prefer T1 to T2, like myself (I like Kyle more than John and I find the horror approach better than full on action), tend to be easier on DF and absolutely hate T3. I’m part of that. While I don’t think DF is a good film by any means, it bored me more than it pissed me off. T3 actively angered me with how much of a blatant parody it was (It’s own writer literally has a blog where he trashed movies 1 and 2). DF was misguided, T3 was intention sabotage. Plus, DF has Gabriel “Ghost Rider” Luna in it. So I can’t hate it 100%.
How are you guys supposed to get an idea of anything that's going on in the video when your pausing it literally every 5 seconds I understand why your pausing it but that's a bit much
@joshbow283 no I've been watching you guys for quite a while I don't know what was up with him today but Nate normally doesn't pause this much probably cuz they had a guest
@@XxSYNDROISxX You guys? No offense but I think you might be mistaken. Or I'm mistaken and that was a typo. I'm just another viewer. Micah doesn't get to be in too many videos anymore because of work from what I understand. Personally I don't mind them pausing since they categorize their reactions as podcasts and I'm kinda here more to hear them ramble because I genuinely like listening to them. They seem like good people. but I can understand other people's view as well. All I can say is, at least they aren't talking over it and missing bits. With how long some of their tangents can get, they could easily talk about one thing for the entire video. In my opinion, there's pros and cons to both. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, kind of situation.
Ah Bill Paxton, the only actor to have the honor of being killed by a Terminator, Predator and a Xenomorph. Some would also argue Lance Henriksen, but Bishop wasn't human (and the queen technically didn't kill him) so I mean...
