Loving your channel (recently found you)! I never knew that the father of one of the kids had his own experiences! I love the weird and bizarre so thanks for this!
You obviously are not aware of the current capabilities of AI, not saying this is or is not AI but I can replicate it perfectly. You won’t be able to tell the difference anymore, just check eleven labs if you don’t believe me
I wonder if this was the inspiration for Stephen King's "It". The yellow lights in the water definitely reminds me of the Deadlights. Even the book has a counterpart in the book.
It might. But as I understood it, Stephen King used John Wayne Gacy, an infamous real life serial killer In the United States, as the real life subject to create the supernatural clown killer in "IT".
I live in Sandown and had never heard this story before , it was certainly strange and creepy . Seems like too many details to be purely a story from children’s imagination . My guess is that they actually met a very odd very creepy human that day . I really hope nothing bad happened to them and that some of the story wasn’t a response to trauma
I agree, my first thought was this was a person with deformities that lived in the woods there at the time. And had a shack he would disassemble and move around with. Also possibly having some sort of mental retardation. Probably lonely and felt much safer talking to children than adults since they may have been more near his level of intellect. IDK just my speculation but who knows. It's all pretty weird.
Someone on the spectrum doing some weird Devo cosplay? Who knows. I remember my dad having one of those yarn worms on a string and I was completely convinced it was alive (he actually was a serviceable puppeteer). Things can look very vivid and real to young kids.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Those kinds are blocking what really happened to them with this crazy story. It's natural for abuse victims to do this
I guess that would depend on whether the workmen were real. If they were and they saw a strange man talking to children and leading them away, I have no doubt (especially in those days) that they would have done something.
Another classic!.. I had no idea what this was about coming into this..if anything I thought it was some mad clown man on a mad ass killing spree...but oh no...tbh, up until we heard about what Mr Y saw, I was thinking the kids are nuts....definitely a scary and creepy story...like all your content, was on point again!.. super duper congratulations reaching 100K... well deserved and surprised you don't have more...but this is one hell of an achievement and in the past few months only?!... 👏 well done guys, can't wait for the next...peace n love 🙏💙👻👽🐝
Just when I thought clowns couldn't get creepier. If he was after the kids for something sinister, why let them go? Very strange, what were his intentions?
It is as confusing now as it was when it began. The tangible is still intangible in its confusing way. You may not even imagine what the children might have witnessed. It's like sweeping the floor in darkness. It is very weird... It is a bizarre tale but you told it well...
I like reading about old folklore for the same reasons I like listening to these videos, and there are a lot parallels between Sam and some stories about fey beings. To those who aren’t familiar; back in the day, fey were a lot weirder and often more horrifying than the modern depictions
the way sam said he is a ghost in an odd sort of way reminds me of the draugr, in nordic mythology the draugr were not really undead but rather they were material ghosts. they had supernatural abilities like being able to create total darkness in daylight hours, entering dreams of the living, and their presence would be shown by great lights. their description is very reminiscent of modern UFO cases.
@@overdrive7349The wide spread fear of clowns is a fairly recent cultural phenomenon. Clowns didn't used to be seen as sinister, until things like Stephen King's IT came about. Most children seemed to love clowns. These days, with all the evil, demonic clown memes, that is why so many people seem to have coulrophobia. Though, even back in the day, some people had a fear of clowns, but they were in the minority.
“Thank you so much for leading the UFOs to my house.” The friend, probably Congrats on 100,000, you deserve it. I listen to a lot of eerie stories, and I think your channel is the best. Great work.
Not a ghost....but not *not* a ghost. So creepy! And bizarre. Also I would have taken a look at the lights in the water and absolutely lost it. The ocean is the scariest world of all. Never heard this one, thanks for sharing!
I will say this, Aliens are believed to be fallen angels aka demonic entities, therefore, the "Im not a ghost but not not a ghost...but you know what I am." Yeah, they had an encounter w/an evil entity imo.
This is perhaps one of the most fascinating and eerie tales of an interaction with an entity. During the 60’s and 70’s Bozo the clown was popular so I’m wondering if the entity was trying to find some form that children could relate to and it even tries to mimic human speech almost like it’s trying to “figure out” how best to interact with mankind.
Right. Maybe it attempted to probe their brains and but received a fuzzy signal, which might explain its bizarre, abstract appearance. I wish someone could track down these two to interview them because this story is all secondhand.
I lived in Sandown as a kid exactly about this time. My parents used to have a guest house in Leed Street. I'd have been about 9 - 10 years old. I remember hearing something about this but had completely forgotten about it until viewing this. Although I'd not got a full grasp on what had gone down at the time, this seemed to hit home more for some reason.
This was one of the weirdest descriptions of a nonhuman being Ive ever heard of. I winder why he had to eat through his ears and his eyes first, and why he had pieces of wood in his clothes. I had my own high strangeness experience in 1982 at Royal Palms state beach in San Pedro California. I was 16 and this had to be one of the stupidest things Ive ever done. Me and my Salvation Army youth group took a trip to the beach one overcast December night. I dont know why I decided to go swimming in the dark and only 50 degrees weather, but I did. Worse, my group was several feet down the shore. I was only in for a few seconds when I was pulled back by a rip tide. I panicked when I realized the water was too deep to touch the bottom. Something told me to swim sideways and the tide turned the other way so I could claw my way back to the sand. Then, I looked up to where the clouds had parted. There hovered a silent big craft made of metal with tubes sticking out that had yellow lights on the end. If that wasnt a ufo I dont know what it was. There was a reason for me to jump to that conclusion in that Id met them many times before, but thats a story for another time that started when I was 4 and ended in my mid 20s. The ship sat there for a few seconds then the counselor's voice calling me startled ne. I answered him but when I looked up again the clouds had covered the sky again I had hypothermia and had to sit in the van with a blanket. I didnt tell anyone what I saw.
Wow. I can believe it. I saw a UFO in around 1973. Nothing astounding, except it was a real UFO doing things in the sky not even our modern aircraft can do. I'm ready for the story for another time if you are ready to talk about it. I'm thinking you were abducted. Be well.
I don't think he had to eat through his ear then eye then mouth. I think it was a trick. Like a magicians trick for kids. Whatever Sam was he was a trickster entity. Everything about him is a trick. The way he appeared, the way he talked, the way he wrote his sentences, the fact he said his names Sam but also that he doesn't have a name, the lower part of his "hut" was somewhat normal with chairs and wallpaper while the upstairs was metallic. He was playing a trick the whole time. He even said he wasn't a he and said he wasn't quite a ghost but was in a round about way. Never giving direct answers. Sounds like the fae or some sort of demon to me.
Sam is definitely among my top favorite paranormal encounter cases. There are so many different elements going on that it's just extremely fascinating and creepy.
As much as my brain tells me this is not a paranormal story, that it's an encounter with an unfamiliar stranger and a transient by young minds I keep coming g back to it for some reason. There's just something so odd about it. Still when I sit and really think about it there's nothing here that is unexplainable.......but my instincts are still tweeked by it. I dunno........
congrats on the milestone! Personally love this tale, your take was a fantastic one. First heard of this one from Shrouded Hand a while back. Still is such a bizarre and disturbing story- I would almost hope it to be some sort of an alien encounter, considering it to be just a man luring children into a shack in the woods makes it much more sinister.
yes that's where I heard it first too I think something happened to the children, most likely an encounter with a man, we would rather not think about. Shiver.... I feel like no 7 year old could recount a story so vividly, but rather I post this hypothesis. The father , obviously into UFOs and wanting to believe his own sightings were of import, coaxed the children to tell the story over, and over. This led to the children adding extra info, in an effort to please and keep the attention of said Father. It is the nature of children, they very much want to please, and are at an age where they can't yet fully understand the difference, between what's real and what's make believe. This is the reason that children at this stage cannot be reliable witnesses in court, or if they are, the jury is cautioned.
Aliens are not my favorite subject, but this was interesting. I almost thought the clown thing was going to fatten up the kids like Hansel and Gretel lol.
I am new to your channel (couple of weeks) and have been binge watching. Really looking forward to this :) thank you so much for all your hard work. You deserve to reach millions of subscribers, I am sure it will come :) 😊
This whole encounter really sounds like something you'd find in IT. The "friendly" clown-like appearance of the creature, lures the kids in to drop their guard down to make them feel safe, only to then induce fear into them moments after. The workers/adults are oblivious to what's happening near them, almost like the creature has an ability to make itself invisible to them only and is only visible to the children.
@@owenmahan2854 he probably heard about it and incorporated into the story, but remember he was a coke head and alcoholic. He could have had a bad coke/alcohol fueled psychosis
Excellent video! My guess: actual supernatural encounter. I don't think All Colors Sam actually looked like that, though. I still believe he was an effigy of whoever was controlling him. Like a robot that is being remotely controlled by a genuine being that spoke to the children.
I LOVE it when I can introduce someone to a weird tale from their local area. I just know how I personally love it when I discover a story from around where I live, makes it just that extra bit special.
@lucindawoolnough4548 Oh wow! May I ask did your uncle live on the Isle of Wight in the early 70s? It's so interesting and strange. I wonder what became of the children!
Great video,i heard this story over the years, always spooked me out,i live in Portsmouth not far from the Isle of Wight, the story is to elaborate and detailed for two kids to make up,we will ever know the truth, gets the brain working, congratulations on 100k😀👍👌
YES! I remember our brief conversation about this. So glad that you've decided to do this one. My favorite encounter with an "alien", or whatever Sam was. Listening now. 👽🤡🤖
This story resonated with me, being a child growing up in the ‘70s. Whilst we didn’t encounter such an experience, there were incidents, which when told to our parents, were rebuffed. Thank you for your extremely interesting channel.
@@spankynater4242 I think he's used "whilst" correctly here. The word "while" is used to describe padding if tibe time eg "while waiting for the bus I sang a song". The word "whilst" is used to describe a contrast: eg "I enjoy singing, whilst my sister doesn't". He is using the word whilst in the sense of contrast, eg "whilst we didn't encounter anything ...others might have" . This is my understanding of the correctness of his grammar usage here. Some may agree with me, whilst others may not! 😉
In many supernatural and cryptid encounters, I am left with the feeling that the appearance of these creatures depends entirely on the witness. As if the creature reaches into the subconscious of a human and appears as something or someone that would be acceptable in some way, for the purposes that the entity prefers. Weather it wants the human come closer or run away, they can appear as a horrible monster or an innocent clown.😊 Loki, Jen, aliens, bigfoot, dogman, ghosts, fairy's, incubus and succubus.. I believe that they are all the same. Fallen angels...a.k.a. demons.
Absolutely agree. The Orthodox Church teaches that aliens are demons, for that very reason. The Church Father's, and Saint's have encounters with demons, and the properties, and powers they have, that is chosen to be exhibited to each individual in a deliberate way, as you have outlined is an old pattern, but prevalent in modern encounters.
Cool fact: "Hello, Are you there?" or "Are you still there?" was the old British way of answering a telephone. It has nothing to do with it being odd because the children were still there. It's just how British people answered the phone, it was their "Hello" way back in the day.
@@TheTapeLibrary Well.. I remember hearing it multiple times once from the History Channel, another time in a book about the telephone, and once from a history teacher... so I assumed it was correct? XD
@@Cramblit oh not saying you aren't, just not something I've heard before. Must be going back quite a long time though, maybe that adds the the mystery of sam. Now I'm thinking, time traveling clown!
Phones were, once upon a time rather less reliable than they are now. My mum was a telephone operator for Alberta Government Telephone, ( AGT ) back in the '60s. If one was disconnected one clattered the switch to hang up or dialed zero to get the operator and see if they could be reconnected. I don't know how the Brit system worked but I would imagine it was more or less the same.
Congrats on the 100K, it is definitely well deserved. I literally saw another video about the Sandown Clown/alien(?) last week. Then I see you post one also, but let me tell you, you totally rocked this story. That's why you're the best, no lie. Definitely can't wait for the next one, it'll be a banger.
Yes! A new video from the Tape Library! Very creepy way of telling this bizarre story. Your take on it was the best,by far. Congrats again on the OVER 100k subs. So well deserved.
@@dannycattell8084 "Secure Contain Protect" Its a collective of science fiction stories and its an incredibly deep rabbit hole if you ever decide to go down it lol Some really good material there if you like that sort of thing.
@@dannycattell8084Secure Contain Protect. It is a fictional organization that started out a web site to which anyone accepted could contribute a story. This is one of many many now animated stories that are out on RU-vid about SCPs. That can lead to a great many others. (One favorite is the 'Hard to Destroy Reptile...' Enjoy! (I love true crime videos but have acquired a taste for these. I sleep to them...:/) There are some really fun stories in there, and a definite world construction overall.

So odd & definitely an interesting story.. the true crime side of me says it was a man in a somewhat realistic mask.. but for the time how realistic could it have been.. the paranormal side of me wonders if it’s like how they say kids are more easily able to see ghosts than adults. That would explain why the adults didn’t see anything. Not sure what I believe at the end of it.
Realistically it's FAR FAR more likely to be imaginative kids fabricating a story/some drunk/drug addict in a clown suit (maybe an employee of a local circus etc.) than aliens. The fact that the people always telling these kind of stories are children, mentally unwell people or people struggling financially grapsing for some relevance undercuts that most of these "paranormal", "cryptid" etc. stories are BS from people with monotonous lives or looking for a little fame/relevance. If we EVER see a reputable scientific team investigate and verify (with third-party analysis) one of these paranormal events, I might buy into it, but it's always people on the fringe. Yes, it's fun to think about weird stuff like this, but reality is strange/disturbing enough without inventing creatures. Man has done more horrible and disturbing things than any cryptid.
I can't wait to watch your growth and watch you just become ridiculously famous. You have one of the best narration voices I've heard in years. Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers. I wait for your videos to come out, just excitedly waiting for the next story. Doesn't even matter what the story is. You tell them all so perfectly, that I fall in love with every tale you tell!!
Thanks for the amazing Video! I heard about the sandown clown first in the video shrouded hand made a while ago. Then cool dudes walking Club made a very indepth Video where he walked the actual scene where the whole thing went down. And now you, love it! ❤❤❤
Congrats on 100K! it is well earned. Thank you for your attention to detail on your uploads as well as massive props for being choosy on sponsors. Can't tell you how tired I am of seeing all the channels going with Raid Legends or (name)VPN or some other nonsense thing no one would ever use.
sure, no one likes ads. That said, I begrudge no one, the income of having ads on their videos. It is a lot of work, and I watch for free. TBH I am always happy for a new content creator, just starting out;when they finally do get their first ad.
Congratulations to your 100.000 subscribers, and I think the children and the father really experienced something weird. Why would they make up a story like this. Interesting story.... All the best from Holland.
Really enjoyed listening to your take on this bizarre event. Sam to me sounds like an alien robot if anything. Doesn't sound like the children made it up being so minutely detailed. Always thought it a shame they never came forward in later years and spoke about it. Probably scared of ridicule and yet their father was quite happy to speak of his experiences. Great vid, thanks for upload, look forward to your next when ready 🛸
I live in Portsmouth right near the Isle of Wight and this story was always told as Sam being a friendly spirit and during the time there were lots of stories from children from, Portsmouth, Southampton, petersfirld to name a few all with very similar circumstances to this story
Big congratz on the 100k! I'm so glad this channel was recommended to me, it's become a go-to in my rotation and easily one of my favorites. Sam the Sandown Clown is one of my favorite paranormal stories, and I'm so happy you covered it! Spectacular job.
I found this channel last week, I absolutely love your work, I listen to you while playing World of Warcraft. The only request I have is I would like to see you do some cryptid work, unless you have don some and I haven't found it, if so please send me a link so I can check them out, ty and keep up the great work
Any suggestions? I’d love to do more. The problem I sometimes find with cryptid stuff is I like tackling ones that have a decent backstory to them, where as a lot of cryptid stories boil down to ‘person sees something strange once’. Did recently do Portlock if you haven’t seen that one yet, and I know it’s over done but I really really want to tackle mothman later this year
Just found your channel recently and I’m loving all these creepy stories, I was actually surprised the channel hasn’t been much bigger, but it seems like it will be soon, congrats on your first sponsor.
I clicked thinking this would be a short fiction film about the origins of Pennywise... but then you blew my mind with this true story of a being so much more terrifying and endearing. I have so many feels right nau. Thank you. Hold me?
This is one of those uber mysterys.. Sam the Sandown Clown. We have discussed this case throughly on fortean times forum and we cant think of any logical explanation except for the clown cpuld of been a guy who had been injured in WW1 or 2 who wore a mask to cover injurys, and the kids have "read" it as "a clown mask". . . That however doesnt explain the siren like noises n such. Also i never knew that the kids father had his own experiences prior to the children reporting seeing "Sam". Very interesting!!
I remember reading about this it's always been baffling to me, where initially I thought it was just down to the children's imagination there does seem to be more to it, it's just hard to come to a definitive conclusion. Thank you for a great video that delves into it abit more. Another case that's hard to comprehend is the story of Spring Heeled Jack, its so interesting Please consider covering the events of 1837 that sparked the Phenomenon. Thanks for your great content 🙏🏼xx
@TheTapeLibrary You did? That's great news 🤗 I've been following your channel for around a few months now I think? so haven't gone that far back as yet but I'm working on it, thanks so much for replying I'll be sure to check it out it's certainly a strange tale for sure 🤔 Do you think it could somehow be linked with the "Devils footprints" of South Devon in Feb 1855?
@@Dee-B82 I don't, but I love the devils footprints story! Really want to cover it at some point but I don't think theres really enough of a story to it to fill a full episode

Put jacket on to leave the house and walk along the beach. **press play** throws jacket in porch, locks all the doors and closes all the curtains....😮😧😱
Fantastic! I've found this story fascinating ever since I first heard it on Shrouded Hands channel. I think I like your coverage of this weird story even more! You and shrouded Hand are my two favorite storytellers! I think it's an entity trying to portray it's self as something and not quite getting it right.

The lips not moving made me think about Vincent Price as Dr. Phibes who his character had suffered a terrible car accident & had been burned severely unrecognizable & he wore a latex mask on his face, but his mouth could not move well you’d just have to watch the movie, but I’ve heard the story from multiple others content here & always found it rather interesting how the drawing depict & descriptions recalled make this being out to be very “cartoonized.” My take as is w/such matters is who am I to believe nor not believe the accounts made regardless of being children or not it is fantastical recounts. & the different accounts of these various events actually have a great more depth to them based off of some of the very serious hard hitting documentaries specifically on this very material. Apparently the event at the school for some of those kids & faculty was very more traumatically experienced than some who can recall that but it didn’t nearly effect them as some it literally still in part effects then still deeply. These accounts along w/the green children found the little boy & little girl that no one could discover exactly where they came from or if they had a family to return them to home. Ultimately they were taken in & over time the little boy ended up dying not long after but they little girl lived & eventually her skin returned to a normal human skin coloring & as far as any one knows she lived a normal life otherwise. Thought is they may of been living in some secret city underground. They even had their own language unknown or unheard before discovering them. I’ll keep my deep thoughts from this point in check & not unpack them from here. Although these have a fondness in part b/c they make me think about when my son was terribly young & trying out his story telling skills but in relation to his own experiences from his perspective. & I always reframe things to see from his view as I try to do w/any other person some easier than others, but some of his got well both of us at various times a bit of a hornets nest & just proved to me just how never underestimate a child’s sense of self discovery & imagination & creative understanding.
Or extremely strange theory for who Sam is could be some sort of marionette and/or puppet being a controlled on a different dimensional plane trying to get closer to ours. Who the puppet Master would be is up for debate but my mind likes to go to literally a giant floating humanoid with ethereal strings attaching itself to a much smaller more closer to this dimensions vessel Sam. There are many Legends around the world from long ago about red-headed giants There's also a native American jester or prankster that kind of looks like a mime and/or clown This type of vessel and or being might have been here for a very long time at least for us.
Kind of remind me of the silly clown from cyanide & happiness. Not sure if that show could be inspired by this strange case of Sam the Sandown clown, but I really enjoyed this video.
Fairly new to the channel but I honestly can’t get enough, every video is a banger! I’ve always enjoyed listening to these type of stories but it’s so off putting when people try too hard to be creepy with the nasally tone and unnecessary music😂 keep it up brother👍🏻 Also there’s something that might be worth having a look into. I’m not sure what information you could find on it but I’m from Nottingham and there’s a really old pub called “Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem” which is supposed to be very haunted and also has a model ship that hangs up on the wall that’s supposed to be cursed as everyone who has cleaned the dust off it has apparently ended up dying, so now they have to keep it in a glass container. I don’t know the facts but it’s a story that’s always fascinated me
@@barbarafagan5240 I’ve just looked it up on and this is what it says: It is reputed that the last three people who dared to try and clean it, died very mysterious and unexpected deaths. No wonder, that today the Cursed Galleon is housed in a glass presentation case above Ye Olde Trip Store, safe from any would-be cleaners and shrouded in years worth of undisturbed dust and cobwebs.
Interesting story indeed! One of the best parts of these videos is peoples' comments, thoughts and reactions to them. I love these kinds of discussions that bring people together to continue and add to the ancient art of storytelling. Great video!! 😊👏 💙❤💜
I'm a Portsmouth born man, and I've never heard of this story, but I am aware of the UFO sighting at the Welsh school. On the face of it, it appears that both cases could be connected, because of the descriptions provided by the children.
I love horror movies and there has been a shortage of them the last few weeks and I came across your channel and I think your story was creepier than a lot of movies I have seen! Great job! Please don't stop! I definitely had to subscribe! 👍❤️
ShroudedHand did a video on this as well, but his is in more of a documentary format, which is fine, I love his channel, but I like this video a lot too! The narration, video editing, and more story-like format kept me interested in a story I heard already. Great video!
I'd have said an interdimensional lifeform. That could be what he meant when they asked if he was a ghost?. I've got a theory that some paranormal events are actually done by other lifeforms just fucking with humans, maybe for fun, maybe experimentation, maybe even for some reason that we can't even comprehend?. That could also explain potentially why the workmen did not see anything, if he can jump dimensions then making himself and his ship invisible to life that isn't his target should be easy. Or Sam was possibly an Ai drone of some type, designed to go out into the multiverse and find and study life. It makes me wonder if the MUFON researcher actually talked directly to the kids or just to the father. The fact that no monetary gain or publicity was sought makes the story a bit more credible. I think the story is too much for a 6 year old to make up and be able to include all the details over repeated tellings, if she's lying about it, you'd spot differences. Although her father may have ignored those because of his own biases (she's his daughter, he has a pre-existing interest in UFOs and his own alleged experiences). Like I said, we really need to know if the investigator spoke directly to the kids or just the father before I could make a judgement one way or the other. Other than all that... CONGRATS ON 100K MATE! 🎉
Well, well, well, you’ve come along just fine. Congratulations on 100,000 subs. I hadn’t heard this story before. I don’t know what to make of it because the two stories are meshed together. Mr. Y experienced a UFO/USO over a period of time. I believe that it has colored his perception to the point that he attributes Faye’s story as an alien encounter. The kids hear a strange sound and decide to investigate. Normal. The hand on the bridge that stops them short is where their reality shifts. They watch a supposedly 7 ft tall roughly human shaped figure emerge. I’m inclined to believe that this is a projection of a clown-like figure meant to calm them down. Going with the alien perspective, they were taken to the ship, which was disguised as a small hut. The odd furnishings were an attempt to simulate a human dwelling. The clown alien figure kept them engaged in conversation while they were being studied. The Lore Lodge calls human-like creatures that are just a bit off flesh pedestrians. They can’t fool people for very long because our instincts alert us to danger. The fact that the children were reluctant to talk about their experience, indicates how disturbing the situation was for them. Perhaps they felt they had been wrong to speak to the clown. Father Y is unbelieving initially but realizes that this may be related to his own experiences. I believe that the boy was reluctant to tell because he didn’t want his parents to know. I am ruling out demonic entities because they let the children leave. The description of sort of like a ghost is very interesting. Whatever being was controlling the clown figure was not in the figure itself but like a ghost of the controller. Since the 70’s, I hope that the entities are better at simulating human behavior and forms. Thank you for sharing this very entertaining story! I thoroughly enjoyed it! 😊🤡🤡🤡Brenda
Well you'd think if these things have the technologies to cross dimensions and or travel from other places in space and time far away than they would be able to create a perfect replica of a human being so perfectly that a person wouldn't be able to tell the difference. So it's really strange to ponder why whatever it was they met didn't or couldn't do that.
The Tape Library is fantastic and narrated beautifully in depth research on fantastic stories,,I'm. Thrilled and happy that he has passed 100k subscribers well done and more to go.thank you all for subscribing.best wishes Michael Edinburgh 🎉😊❤

Such a great story and you tell it so well. Honestly though it sounds like Faye had an extremely vivid dream which she recounted to her little friend. The boy was 'reluctant' to talk because he didn't actually experience it.
So while I don't personally think that's the case here, I can see how that could fit as a theory. Some real dream logic type stuff going on with Sam and the way he speaks
