Coming from Melbourne, Australia, The Teskey Brothers have been a well-kept secret for quite some time now. Only recently, their Blues Rock sound that lays the groundwork for the unbelievable voice of frontman Josh has gotten some well-deserved recognition by music lovers and critics all around the world.
Paint My Heart is a masterpiece, showcasing their strength: To execute a complex song at highest level, giving space to each sound while also playing together as one - like only bands can do, who’ve bonded and played together for years.

I saw them on a Monday night, a month before their 1st album came out. 5 bands on the bill, did 4-5 songs each tops. Free. I’d heard their 1st single 2 days before on community radio. Stayed in the car to hear the back announce because I couldn’t believe how great it was. 50-70 people in the crowd max. Next gig had maybe 120 people, all for them, a live performance direct broadcast for that community station.Within a year they were playing shows to 1000 people. And the juggernaut took off from there. They plied their trade and found that amazing sound over the prior years. So pleased we in Melbourne have to share them with the world.

If this is the direction of Australian music in the 20s, give me more. This is truly amazing, cant fault it anywhere. It all works beautifully and the brass comes in and you are taken to another level. Follow that with the guitar and of course that amazing soulful voice. Nothing more to add. I first heard these guys on my local radio station here in Macon, Georgia and I seriously thought they were playing some "lost track" of Otis Redding! I was trying to figure out how they were able to get such an amazing sounding copy of a track from the 60's... Needless to say, I "Shazamed" the song and discovered an incredible band! Man, I can see from other comments that I'm not the only one who's extremely blown away by this! One more observation, I'm seeing a bit of a Ginger Baker influence behind the kit... Love it! Keep it up guys, all of you are superb!

What a truly exceptional band of musicians. Everything in sync, coupled with a voice that is from the nether regions of the solar system, cause it's not from this planet. It's actually stunning to listen to. Got goose bumps, cause it's so fricking brilliant, & shaking my head cause I can't believe this is possible. Josh, get together with Beth Hart & do some songs. When I see these guys I feel like they have the best of the music we all like from the 60's and 70's but with a more a more mature and modernized point of view. To me they sound like if they went to the past, learnt all they could learn, experimented all they could experiment and then they came back to the the present with the same age they left and played what they had lived realizing music can be just simple and don't need many things to make it beautiful. They are years away from their age and from any other "new" artist I see nowadays. Is like if they grew magically. And I forgot to say that this video is just gorgeous!! Technically impeccable and soulful!!! Well done guys!!

@@bigden63 Wow that's great I will have a look. I am from a village called Palamós in north Spain. If you google it you will see how beautiful it is haha. But I have a similar story. I was born and grown up in there and when I was 21 I decided to go to London and try to learn from the best musicians I could find and to pursue my dream that still is to be a professional musician.
