Beautiful film. Cassie the wife is a true angel and loves children so much that she's incapable of hating anyone, even though she's shocked by her husband's double life and his desire to control everything. Forgiveness is the only way to preserve their love for each other and give a home to the orphaned little girl. A real good and benevolent film

I have seen this before, but enjoyed it again. Erica was such a darling little girl and Cassie was a sweet lady. I cried everytime someone hugged the little girl etc. Very enjoyable movie with good acting.

Wow! Wow! Wow! That was really, really good. Thank you for posting, so many lessons learned. Forgiveness is definitely on the list. Another thing no one ever can see is how a prayer can be answered for many people on one choice. I will say it was great to see Kevin liking Erica and not taking what his dad did out on her. I loved that part. Compassion and kindness really came through. That was nice to see.

Most men cheats, lies, pretend, and think that the wife have to put up with their BS but, if the situation is all the way around this types of men do not accept it and reacts really badly which is not fair... complicated...not easy to be a woman... Women should be treated with most respect by all men!!!

In my opinion she went through with everything because she felt for Erica and in someway she thought of her as the child she couldn't have had and this made her cope with everything the way she did , she didn't do it for him but for herself, she did something for herself this time and how much Erica loved her from the very beginning shows that it was something that was meant to be , God sent.

She will never trust that deceitful, lying man, not in 1000 years of marriage, sharing 1 bed, living in the same house.

The wife's compassion and empathy for the little girl is impressive, but apart from this there was only toxic positivity and an extreme preoccupation with immediate forgiveness at all costs. The only character who behaved authentically and naturally in this respect was the son, who felt and showed his rightful anger at the father who treated them all like dirt, and then he, the son, was vilified for behaving authentically, and treated as if he had a problem!! What a terrible message to send out to people! Either fall in line with the heartless deceitful narcissist, or be blamed for showing integrity. The husband actually said the words, apparently in his own defence (!) "I wasn't going to leave you!" as if leading a double life was okay, and his presence (part-time) in the marital home was some kind of a gift to the wife, which she should be grateful for! The effect of cheating behaviour like that on his family would be to threaten their sense of stability and possibly make it difficult to trust again. This is major damage. But the wife just mooned around looking saintly, and hardly showing any real anger at this huge offence against her. A film like this, with its holding up of instant forgiveness at all costs, could make real people with real emotions (all of us!) feel lacking. Forgiveness at a crime like this one would take a long time and a lot of work. Fake forgiveness in order to be virtuous would mean denying a person's true feelings and reactions. And what's with the sexism? The cheating pair committed the same sin, yet the woman was disposed of neatly, while the man was back in his nest like a hero!

❤️❤️❤️ The Title of the Movie speaks out by itself The small girl was an ADORABLE sweet ANGEL Okay at the time the couple were separated temporarily but the TRUTH is their bonding as a married couple wasn't really destroyed because Cassie couldn't have a second child What a lovely movie because it truly shows the REALITY of Life

Betrayal in marriage is the worst betrayal of trust period! Forgiveness is just that. Very necessary. But trust is not forgiveness. No amount of apologies ever brings back trust. This movie is not real life and depicts a great misconception of reality!

No, hay todo un planeamiento, y es en ese espacio de tiempo donde la persona tiene la oportunidad de recapacitar y volverse atrás. Si no se dá este retroceso, simplemente es porque la persona no tiene el más mínimo respeto, consideración y sobre todo amor, hacia su cónyuge. Así, que, en mi opinión, no hay razón para seguir con una persona así.

I was an a.. h… and cheated on my wife almost twenty years ago. We went separate ways after I confessed to her following a heated argument. Majority of men including me are jerks and whatever we did will cost us for the years to come. I’ll never get a woman like her and I have to live with that.

I understand that being a victim of a cheating spouse is devastated,sometimes parents will endure suffering for the sake oh their children,special when they don’t understand. I believe that is possible to forgive when love exists within each other.who could guarantee that your second husband, or lover will not cheat as well.Remember trust people now a days is almost impossible.I’m in favour of a divorce,but I’m in favor in forgiving when people truly repent.

Lots of significant items on the film that audiences most likely refused to pay attention with even cassie herself. 1. Why the ticket under mrs. C Whitman? Why? If there's nothing really going on between them. 2. The nightie that cheryl brought in her bag going to seattle. Although mark insisted that she never slept with cheryl after he and cassie got back together that item says otherwise (Kevin asked his dad if mark would spent overnight in seattle and mark answered, "probably not,why?". The probability would be depends on cheryl and it looked like cheryl had some surprised rendevouz for mark) 3. The pair of earrings which has bigger stones than the ring mark gave to cassie on their anniv. If this is something that should be ignore in the movie its not neccessary to focus on it and gave cassie or the audience something to ponder about, like whether mark gave it to cheryl or not. 4. Kevin already saw cheryl with his dad on different occasions so why he's still disgusted with mark even if mark insisted that cheryl and him were not more than friends? I mean how cheryl and mark carried themselves in public would be inappropriate that even kevin didnt buy it like the plane ticket. 5. The idea of erica about "man and woman being friends". When cassie told erika that she and mark decided to try working with their relationship again while wearing their PJs on bed holding hands. Erica asked "...because you're friends now?" It made me think how many times did erika see mark and cheryl on bed sharing sweet moments while making erika believed that they're JUST FRIENDS. * in a nut shell Mark is pathological liar who doesnt want to be alone. * excellent actors and actresses though.

I don't understand how someone can accept back their partner who is having an affair. They make moment of fight or angry or stress to be the reason why they are cheating. No wonder cheating is commonplace in this world because someone will always forgive and accept back those who have broke and tarnishes the sacred vows of marriage.

To be able to put complete Trust and Faith is totally different and gos deeper than forgiveness..if you willing to stay you have trust your partner a 💯.. and that could turn out to be the biggest mistake of your life..and could lead to multiple times cleaning up after there Infinities.. each individual different each situations different.. A strong independent woman wouldn’t put up with this behaviour from her man..cause a strong independent woman only needs Love Loyalty and Trust from her man..
