Love your lectures bro Nouman Ali Khan, jazakallahu khair. Interesting point on "naz`", I never thought it to be slow pulling, rather a sudden stripping away but I just realized it can mean both thanks to your lecture. I also see the ayah being a threat to those in power. Power can be stripped away almost overnight, like was seen in the case of Qaddafi. In what amounted to days he went from his palaces to being beaten to death on the streets after being found in a sewer. I don't make shamatah, though he was a cruel tyrant who murdered and tortured thousands of Muslims, but it just demonstrates the ayah clear as day. I mean I do hate people like Qaddafi and wish evil upon them, but when I see it happen I also feel some pity and dread. Dread because that could be anyone in the end, myself included, save for the fadl of Allah if He wishes we make it out of this world clean.
Sometimes, I do wonder how much inclined we are to Ustaad Nouman bhai & Mufti Menk, both disappears at a same time, we feel directionless & bizarre. Such were the impact of them. Guys, My father shall be going for Heart surgery within this month, I wish all of you shall pray for him. His name is Yusuf, Masha allah, I may have seen his name possess the characteristic of our Prophet Yusuf with due regard to trials & tribulations, I always prayed the way our Prophet Yusuf became a prominent person during the later age. I wish my father had the same. Please do pray. *P.S. Being an obedient child is the only thing that he is proud of me, he never seen me as a successful student, wish Almighty make him saw his children as successful persons*
Why I love Ustath Nouman, cause he always reminds us of the why, I really believe that you ustath are one of the people god sent to this umma to put it back on track, indeed the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets.

I've been thinking about this ayah since the US elections. A lot happened since that day, election results across Europe (religious parties, nationalist/racist parties victories), violation of several BM decisions (embassy opening in Jerusalem, withdrawing from nuclear treaty), military coup attempt in Turkey, sword dance and "light globe" partnership, 100 billion trade with US in Saudi Arabia and embargo to Qatar from their Arab brothers and some other events... Each time such horrible things happened i remembered and believed "biyedikel khayr inneke ala kulli shey'in qadiir" ... Then i fill with hope believing zalim's domain will end eventually. May Allah grant muslims all over the world wisdom to understand Allah's deen. And follow the clues from the Holy Quran and overcome traps of enemies of Islam.
That has already been recognized as nothing but slander by the majority of the community. Do your homework before you accuse someone. Otherwise, you will only be humiliating yourself.

Lol out of the entire lecture you point out the fact that is he's getting old and questioning why he's getting old?! Instead of taking what's good from the lecture you sit there and comment on his appearance... but he looks exactly the same if anything he has a beautiful Noor on his face because he's beautiful from the inside.. I mean this is the problem with us humans the indirect condescending comments it's horrible and so bad for your soul to talk about ppl or to judge their character and their appearance it's called backbiting and if you didn't know that's a major sin in Islam.

MsMar143 sometimes we have to take something easily..Therefore not to fire the haram gun on everything, even at a thing where someone is worried about the lectures he/she not getting oftenly...She is just worrying about NAK with good hopes in her heart
