I love how the show accused Arin of joining the show just for the viewers, where in reality it is the show that benefited from having him.

On the bus everyone is looking either smug or nervous, while Arin is just sitting there looking bored as fuck.

Wow really? You made Egoraptor out to be the bad guy? The Egoraptor? Inviting a celebrity just to kick them off immediately is incredibly cheap.

Came back to see Arin's scene after watching today's Game Grumps where he talked a bit about it. His interview is still as painful as ever. He is so unfairly portrayed. And besides the fact that number of trophies doesn't determine skill level, they didn't even look at Arin's account! Just some dude who got his name on PSN.

That Arin guy should be on Game Grumps.

It's funny because I can hear snip-its of Arin being his awesome, goofy self, but then the scenes cut to a shot of some guy/girl giving his/her life story and reason for not liking the other contestants, and all I'm thinking is, "Shut up not-Egoraptor!, let Egoraptor speak!"

Arin was framed so bad... I mean you can see that they tried their best to make him seem as bad as possible even though in the other scenes he's the nicest guy.

Egoraptor got so much hate on this show, firstly those Judges got on the show for the attention obviously, so why is it so bad that Egoraptor said he was half there for the attention? he was just trying to get his dream job like everyone else, he just happened to have the privileged of already dealing with fame and knowing what would happen if he got on the show.

The best part of this has to be the dislike bar. Egoraptor was good too.

They do realize that Arin meant he was going to pull in watchers for the show and not his channel right? And by the way, he did bring in a LOT of watchers, around 110,000 to exact. He wouldn't even be able to pull in new watchers for his channel since everyone watching is already subscribed! Look at the numbers, episode 1,2, and 3 had around 180,000 views and everything after that (after Arin left) was around 80,000.

It's funny because being a video game tester is a minimum wage job. More than half of these people are making more money on youtube than they would doing this

It's such a shame for Arin. He went in with the full intention to troll, but when he got there and met everyone, he couldn't because he liked them. However, when it came to the actual show/judges, he trolled.

This is bad even in reality show standards, and that is saying something.

I am floored. This is a reality show. Reality shows exist so its creators can earn money. The presence of Egoraptor was going to earn them more money. What more could they want?

These people, so cringy, even Arin had to force a bit of excitement.

"You wish you were here!" Couldn't be more right. I so wish that I was competing on a rigged reality show where the prize was to be hired at a tiring, stressful, minimum wage job. Oh boy, do I! Egoraptor currently has 1.7 million subs on his main channel and nearly 2 million subs on GameGrumps. He probably makes more per day than this season's "winner" would per month. Not only that, but he was pretty much the only reason people watched this show. For the judges to treat him like dirt was entirely their own mistake. "Y-your fans… They won't save you again." This guy knows from experience, or at least if he had fans to begin with.

I remember when I had a job as a video game tester. I got the job simply by going to a 10 minute interview.

You know what's super funny about this show? 9 years later and Arin's the only one of these people that is still relevant.

Arin keeps saying all the other contestants were nice people, so the editors must have worked really hard to make everyone seem as bad as possible.

Whatever about Egoraptor being treated like dirt, everybody is just ignoring the fact that this show is 100% product placement. Every 10 seconds it had a shot of a new PS3 exclusive or the PS Vita and a cutaway to a contestant going "OMG I love the new vita because of this and that and that". It was one big advertisement. They even edited so that if they had asked "What games do you like" and a contestant said "Well I like PS3 games but I really like Nintendo too", they would cut out the second half of the answer.

You fucked up Sony. I hope you all know that. You could have had something valuable, but you threw it away simply for the sake of "drama" for this crappy show. Arin Hanson was and is, by far, the most qualified person there to have the chance to work in production. Yeah, he was voted in by his accumulation of fans, but why is that the bad thing you portrayed it to be? He has his fans for a reason; he's talented and he knows what he's doing. How are all of these bullshit game-show challenges an accurate way to measure anyone of the contestant's ability to produce games and work in the industry? Before portraying Arin as some douche who doesn't know anything, you should have researched his work; because I know you didn't. Putting him on just for ratings is low.
