Eriko had all the identified "barriers" to Christianity that a Japanese person can have, and yet she came to know Jesus as the one person "who loves me as I am". Her story shows how the Gospel can reach anyone.
Thank you, Eriko. I am in Australia and I host exchange students from Japan. I showed the 2 Japanese girls that are staying with me your testimony and they decided to give their hearts to Jesus!!! :D
I'm Bornean/Dayak Catholic and have a Japanese blood from my grandfather. I'm happy to see the growing Christian in Japan. Japan really need a spiritual truth, Jesus Christ.
Wonderful, touching testimony. It's been 4 years. I hope that the Lord has already answered her prayer for her parents to come to the Lord for salvation. I pray for Japan every day, and it's my hope that a great awakening comes by the Spirit of the Lord who loves the Japanese people. Thank you.
When i Pray i always include Japan to my Prayers.. Thank you for your Beautiful Testimony. i Pray for you're Parents. God bless you. Praise God that you received Jesus as your personal savior~ :)
Don't mind me just cutting onions here lol. Wow what a testimony indeed! May the lord truly bless Eriko and her family. May the lord bring plenty of people into her life who don't know the lord. And I will be praying that her parents will one day get saved!
Thank you for this testimony. We are sharing the gospel of Jesus here in Japan and you're testimony is something to share to other Japanese. We will join in praying for Japan.
Love her testimony. I can identify a lot with her upbringing. Though not in buddhism but in a religious family. The Lord continue to bless her and praying her Parents know Jesus Christ.
I was born and raised Catholic, but as life fucks us hard, i resented the system called religion, i lived as an agnostic for years. But then one day i happened to just look at a bible in a book store and felt this strange energy that drew me close as if it was calling me, i randomly opened it and it got me to the story of the lost son somewhere in The gospel of Luke, it kept lingering in my mind and the next week on Sunday mass, i happen to try coming to Church again. There in that mass, again the sermon was about God's forgiveness and that story of the lost son. What on earth did this mean? An a few weeks After that, i had one moment where i saw the power of prayer actually performed a miracle in the hospital where i was working at. I repented, and since then i have never felt more peaceful. I can understand what kind of struggle Eriko went through,to find that one true love from God. 天におられる父は人を愛してるから、この世界にも一度のチャンスをあげた。えりこさんのストリは本気なのね、私はあなたの幸せと日本の為に祈っています。
Hi! I live in Australia and I host exchange 2 girls from Japan for a couple weeks about 3 times per year. I always show your testimony, and every time they have wanted to accept Christ! :) You have been leading young girls to the Lord for the past few years. :D Thank you! Melissa
This put a big smile to my face. I have a real love for the Jaspanese people and I dearly want them saved. I hope that their churches will grow with true believers. I hope that this woman and many other japanese people will show their light to their society.
I'll be praying for your country , your beautiful family and your Church! Also: "...May The Lord bless you and keep you; may The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace..." ! Greetings from Chile. =)
It is not the action that we are forgiven of specifically. It is that when we are of the world, we are not in God. By turning to Jesus and committing our lives to Him, we are forgiven of the sins we commit. This is not to say there are not earthly consequences, but that the Lord has paid the price of our sins for us. Because we humans cannot go a day without sinning. Some struggle with lies, adultery, coveting, etc. but all sins are against God. Who can say he is better than another?
Thank you for your testimony💕! In America as a child I feelt many of the same things you felt as far as not being able to trust in people. Jesus changed my heart too! I studied Japanese in school and I have a love for Japan. One day I hope to come visit a help many people for God! Love you, praying for Japan☺💕
Thank you for your percious testimony in Jesus, Erico Suzuki San. Pls be a faithful person who serve your country Japan to make your nation come back to our dad, God, the creator. 감사합니다. 에리코 수즈키 상,,~!!
@HunterR909 I also wanted to add that, God's forgiveness not only wipe away past sins committed, but set the person free from the sins that enslave them. There are countless testimonies of people who has severe addictions, committed much evil, but through grace, were released from the power of sin and became a completely different/new person.
Thank very much for creating this video, and thank you very nuch Eriko for sharing your story. God bless you, your family and your church. Please don't stop praying, God always listens to our prayer.
prasie the lord this lady was one of the chosen few from Japan to be saved. i do not know the stats but of those Japanese doing homestays and going to other christian nations some do have salvation experiences. but when returning to Japan they often fall away from faith because there are so few true believers there.
love this video, praise God, its so good to see God working in the country with the 10th highest suicide rate. i am a city missionary and it does my heart joy to see there's hope in one of the most secular cities in the world.
Thanks for being so brave , Eriko! ❤️ I am so glad you share your love of Jesus and how you saw God do miracles in your family! It gives me hope. You are my Japanese sister.
Excellent video!!! Now somehow I understand the buddhist worldview for the first time. I can share this video to share what amazing testimony can be had when you receive Jesus. It's not important how and which religion you belong, Jesus is superior to all religions!!!
Ahhhh an amazing testimony of God's wonderful love and grace. I pray that the Lord will save your family and many, many of the Japanese nation. Thank you for sharing, my wonderful sister Eriko San. May God bless you richly. Arigatou Gozaimasu
I agree with the person on the video. As an Asian myself, we do typically think that parents are everything to us, that is, before we have gotten married. It is the desire of every child to be appreciated by our parents or at least by a parent. We want to give them hope, they're everything for us, they're our world. When also I received Jesus, I have to give up the most important person(s) in my life and have to cling to Jesus. It was the hardest and most painful task but I did it for Him.
Thank you Erika for your beautiful testimony and your courage to share how God has changed your life. May you continue to feel His Loving Presence! Praying for your family.
Excellent video!!! Now somehow I understand the buddhist worldview for the first time. I can share this video to share what amazing testimony can be had when you receive Jesus. It's not important how and which religion you belong, Jesus is superior to all religions!!! Can you post more videos of this kind please. I will share this video to my japanese students who seem reluctant to accept christianity...and somehow now i know. Please give my thanks to emiko for her courage to share :)
I agree, but with one exception: It is also each action that Jesus pays for. Think of it this way, every time we rebel against God someone will pays for that rebellion, either you or Jesus. Ultimately no one gets away with anything :)
@HunterR909 Your completely right, forgiveness IS easy for the one who commits evil, but that is ALL of us (see Romans 3:23) Discipleship and following Jesus is not so easy (see Luke 14:25-35)
I agree, "no questions asked" is not accurate. One question for you... how do you back up the idea that God can have "nothing unholy or sin stained in His presence"? If God is omnipresent is He not already in the presence of sin? What about Satan in heaven to accuse Job? Not looking to argue, just interested in your perspective :)
