Teton Crest Trail- arguably the best 40 miles of backcountry this country has to offer. The lakes, peaks, canyons, waterfalls, and wildflowers will leave you breathless. I found myself in awe for the whole 3 days we spent in Grand Teton National Park. Around every corner was another astonishing view. With a total of 9,681 feet total ascent and 10,779 feet total descent and a high point of 10,645 feet on Paintbrush Divide, this hike is burly. We obtained permits to camp on Death Canyon Shelf as well as North Cascade Canyon.
