These four commentators are right based on their knowledge. They were not philosophical nor scientific. In other words they don't know really who the Texans are very well done. I would like to add & enhance that. I'm forecasting the Texans to a 9-1 record w/a win against the Lions. Later, this will be another statement game. And a 90% chance to 16-1. At worst, a 14-3 record. We do struggle a lot more when away, but it's just another area to improve on. This is the time to do it. What makes them special is their progress of improvement, besides equipped. Right now, they have a little bit of a breather w/this stretch of games that appear to give them some breakout room. The 1st 4 wks was the identification/initial development stage. W/this win against BUF, it was their 'we know who we are' stage. GB coming up in GB could be a statement game if Love gets back to where he could be. CJ is also forecasted to pitch a string, possibly long-string, of 400+ yrd games if remains healthy. Predicting he tosses 460+ at NE. Have seen an improvement by the team on CJ sacks, & not as many penalties - big. Xavier Hutchinson will do well to fill-in for Nico. He's Nico's backup. He's been with the team for a few seasons & is hungry for playing time. Here is his opportunity. The team has always done well at next-guy-up in past seasons, even when struggling. They do not taper-off. Texans smart at letting guys heal 1st - to getting them back. Joe & Nico needed most later in the season for better teams DET, DAL, KC, & BAL. Let them heal. We can do w/o them for now. Perfect timing. But badly needed later against those teams, especially KC & BAL. We only lost to the Vikings because that was Week 3 when we were getting to know ourselves. The Vikings were considered very good at the time, which they still are. They may be the replacement of the 49ers from last year, but it's still a long season. Have been emotional several times about finally seeing how very good this team is. This is the best we have ever been in 24 yrs. We are the youngest in the league. We only had one 12, one 11, and three 10-win seasons. This is our best year by far, ever, & it's only gonna get better. Our closest match is if Baltimore is clicking on us cylinders, & we happen to fall off when we play them. And, the great coaching, & experience of KC. I'm not worried about KC players because we're better than they are. But it's that coaching & their Super Bowl experience that we have to overcome. Read creates a lot of stuff that they can do which makes them very hard to beat. The Texans are so good overall & in detail that we can easily make up for the occasion. Those are our challenges. If we become what we're becoming, & improving to, with our innovative & entrepreneur spirit, we could become the greatest team ever in history over a 10+ year era. I pray we change history. After having listened many hours of NFL radio on Sirius XM radio, I've learned a lot about the NFL. Moving The Chains with Pat Kirwin and Jim Miller along with other timeslots taught me a lot because radio is far less regulated than the television, but I did see a lot of mistakes on other programs on NFL radio, but not nearly as much as you find on television. The advantage I have as a long Texan fan is getting to know that organization and spirit. Experts do not have the advantage of knowing the detailed knowledge that they never mention, but they are good on some of the exterior stuff. Another issue is the front office. How long will the front office keep making the team good. They are underrated for how they make the team. Remember they're the ones that brought in Stroud. They're the ones who surrounded him with a very good squad. Stroud is only this good because he's surrounded by the right stuff., He's the best at his position. He is the bar to measure against. This is the second season that has been going on.
