I live in Brownsville and have always driven an hour to get to Willie B’s for their huge baked potato w/ brisket. I had no idea there was a place in San Benito that offered them as well and they look delicious. I’m gonna visit this place asap🥔🍴
Use to live in San Benito , Harlingen and Brownsville. But when i lived in San Bene after church it was this place. Very delicious food and very family friendly. Will stop by when i go back to the Valley to visit.
As a former employer the best bbq in the valley the food is great baby back ribs were the best for me steaks were great also i could never finished that chopped brisket spud too big great place to eat
One of the things I miss about going to the valley is stopping by The Longhorn Cattle Co. for some great BBQ. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I used to work at the Harley Davidson shop there in San Benito and Longhorn is right up the road a bit and they call me "Big Lou " for a reason,I love to eat great food and this is the place for great BBQ, beans and everything else on the menu.

Something felt like it changed last time i was there so hadnt been back so I may have to give it another try. The beans are always to die for though so no complaints on that. And dont forget the banana pudding! How could you not showcase the banana pudding?!?

I'd request pico de gallo and jalapeños in place of the butter and sour cream if they were available. I've never liked butter and sour cream on my baked potato.

It shouldn't take you very long to get to the Texas panhandle, but then brace yourself for a long-ass, 12 hr+ drive to the southern tip. Just make sure you come hungry. 😄
You’re better off saving yourself time and gas, it’s not that great. Closer to you in Ft. Worth Heim BBQ a true gem or Hard Eight BBQ highly recommend both.
Ribs are always good , the beans have there good and bad days I guess, and Banana pudding is 👌🏻, just wish they would put more vanilla wafers. Brisket is ok at times, sometimes it is tender and juicy and other times dry 😒. Not so bad food but for the price you pay, I want to get my moneys worth.. Ohhh and Always ask for extra bbq sauce. 😋😉

The pinto bean soup before you get your menu might be the smartest thing ever. There's a place I go just to get the fresh chips and queso.. but you have to get the carnitas tacos to go with.
Dude at one point you took a bite that had aluminum foil on fork, maybe should've removed the foil first as it's the first thing I always do when eating a bake potato and always will be, well because I eat the skin and all & I also smash the crap out if the potatoe to mix & melt the toppings and butter.
I live in this town and I can say that there is better places to eat in San Benito lmfao.. I guess when you've eaten there so many times it becomes less and less impressive.
I agree with Snydesy, where is the common sense to how to dress a stuffed potato, these people got it all backwards, common sense would tell you to put the butter in first, followed by the cheese and then topped with the hot brisket/meat which will melt the cheese from the top while the hot potato will melt the butter and the bottom side of the cheese making it a much better meal, vs what they have now, trying to eat a scoop of cold butter. Absolutely Crazy! Come on people wake up and smell the potato!!!!
Sorry folks but when a potato is put in aluminum foil it steams and does not bake. This is a misnomer that many people make. If the potato is baked naked in the oven THEN it is a baked potato.
They didn't show the ribs or brisket....for one the ribs are dry and bland... two there is better brisket out there don't waste your money....loaded potato and beans are pretty good....but bbq idk....
