The Texas Bucket List - Luckenbach 

Love the place I ride 200 plus miles one way just to have a beer there as often as I can GOD bless

Went there in 1975, nothing going on then. I was young, family vacation with the parents, & just stopping in little Texas towns & sightseeing.

Spent a week there one day

About ten years ago, I wandered in there. Three guys were pickin'. I asked if I could sit in. NO PROBLEMO So I unwrapped my dobro and ......... we got it on with the old stuff. The tourists filled up a couple buckets with money, and the three others were nice enough to cut me in. Great day for a really old picker from the Ozarks. But, it seems it's gone all pop country glitz lately.

Please stop paving/building in Luckenbach!!! Keep it simple. That's the magic of this place!!

I am a born Texan live in Fredericksburg all my life luckenbach is not the same like the Alamo. They ruined luckenbach Honda would have been disappointed the way it turned out
