I love how, every once in a while, Drayton Sawyer has that look like, "I shouldn't be doing this." It helps establish that, at one point, he finally crossed that line and decided "Well, there's no turning back now," yet still has that occasional nagging morality.

The giant tabasco bottle on the table is such a funny detail. This scene is pretty emblematic of the whole movie, horrific and frightening but with a little undercurrent of dark humor. Like putting a little bit of sugar in tomato sauce to balance out the acidity

The original movie had such an intense terrorizing, dooming, nightmarish feel to it. Watching it is like being trapped in a psychological nightmare that you can't escape from. I really dislike how they made this sequel into a dark comedy and added humor to it. The original and the 2003 remake will always be the best in the series.

Let us just reflect on how many iconic scenes there are in this movie. The Dinner scene, Stretch stretching, The bridge scene that probably inspired the Mad max2 movie ,Chop Top and the Chilli Meat contest just to mention a few. It is by no means the best TCM movie but far from the worst.

I was horrified when I first watched this movie in the middle of the night. One of the greatest horror movies ever. Bill Moseley as Chop Top is one the creepiest characters in movie history. Love this flick! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
