Macaque lesson didn't help mk,it actually made his Securities worse and wukong didn't explain things so mk can learn one his own,wukong lessons actually stuck to mk mind,like "step into the strike" and " turn out everything else out and Focus on what you want to do and do it" and in pin pong,wukong has lessons of listening to your friends by using a blindfold so mk can learn to listen to his friends needs, macaque lessons dehumanize and belittle mk,like in shadowplay were he use mk friends to torment mk,a the lessons in the macaque episode "be the weapon" that makes mk have a bad mindset,it doesn't stick,non of macaque lessons are helpful for mk. Macaque isn't even straightforward in his so-called lessons before s4,wukong knows how to teach people, and he teaches his sun family with weapons,why wukong is vauge is so mk can figure out the lessons on his own,not to explain anything to mk,a mentor not supposed to explain everything but guide them to the right path,like what wukong does,wukong life lessons help mk unlike macaque ,while macaque lessons were violent and dehumanizing "You are a weapon." And the way he did that was unhealthy to mk, Most of his lessons were about: "You are like Wukong. You don't care about your friends" Wukong also build mk up and Practice and make mk figure out how to compete the lesson,like in Ping pong panic,We should not forget that Macaque was teaching MK cause he wanted to avenge Wukong in s1 (so it was personal) To add to this In s4, Macaque had to explain to mk what's meaning of the lesson is.

Not only is he belittling him,we can also see a lasting harmful impact to MK. By lifting Jingu Bang,MK proves himself to be something powerful.Something you can't risk releasing to the world without proper teaching about having restraint on his powers. That's why Wukong tries to teach him patience and hard work,contrary to Macaque's "You're a weapon!" and taunting approach.By that teaching,I feel like Macaque is basically building a time bomb by teaching a mega-powered,young,powerful being to rely on brute strength and aggression (the exact thing Wukong was learning to constrain in the journey,mind you.Wukong might not be the best teacher,but he knows what's going on with MK since his powers are similar). I think a good proof of this is how MK creates a giant monkey projection in season 4 final battle,that has several other faces surrounding it,just like how Macaque uses his power. That's not to say Macaque doesn't contributes anything,he does.His lesson at the finale of S4 makes sense.But as MK said,it's confusing & convoluted. But it is not based on nothing.Just like how Wukong's game is based on how he learned to consider to stop punching out his problems & think rationally when faced with the competent Rhino King,Macaque's game is based on the early behavior of Wukong killing anyone with no regards.In this case,I think,is his killing of Kui Mulang's sons to threaten him to give up the pilgrims.At the end of the day,it serves a similar lesson: There's always another choice.You just have to use your own rationale to make it. (After all,Wukong & Macaque *are* the 2 different sides of a coin) It's just that this lesson came after 3 seasons of progression from the more sinister Macaque to the Macaque that is finally ready to leave the dark side.So in my opinion,saying that Macaque has always had the best of intentions to MK is not true.Just like everybody else,Macaque doesn't seem to understand the true nature of MK's origin & being.He thought that MK is just a boy being given power by Wukong,a mortal.And by the looks of it,even if it's not personally targetting MK,he seems to have the same disregard of lives Wukong had,so he might be willing to do what it takes to get under Wukong's skin.Even if it means endangering his disciple.....y'know,killing him. If I may give a suggestion though,your punctuation needs some work.That way people would be more appealed to what you write.
