I don't know if anyone has said this but the fact that Stephen Hawking himself was able to be on set a few times and witness parts of his life again shows he really did end up being able to wind back the clock in the end, though it wasn't to the beginning of time itself, it was to something that grew to be much more fond. That's something truly special.

I was 15 years old when I saw this movie in theatres and it was one of the greatest theatre experiences in my life. I didn’t expect to get so emotional by the end of the film and even stayed during the credits cause the music is so good. I always go back and watch this movie once a year and I feel nostalgic about it.

Stephen hawking dedicated his life to find the beginning of the universe and prove that it exists, but in the end, we see, the last scene was the moment he met Jane. She was the beginning of his universe. 🌌
