I just bought a gen 2 Genesis 3.8 coupe and i discovered one of these was installed. It was on green 1 and auto(?). So I switched it to M/T and race setting 9 and holy shit.. massive difference; completely woke the car up and is so much more fun to drive now.
I’ve had one for years, it does make your car more powerful but it improves the throttle response and gets you into the power you have really quickly 10/10
So I bought this for my 2013 Accord V6 M/T and I didn't think there was much lag to begin with. Boy was I wrong!! Unless your car has a cable system, it is guaranteed that you will have lag in throttle response. It is night and day when I take it off as compared to when I have it on. The race setting on 9 almost makes the car undrivable, because all I get is massive wheel spin even up to 3rd gear!
Just for any new person to cars. This isn’t a power mod, hence it doesn’t need a tune. This just open your throttle body at a faster point. For example if it was a 1 to 1 (like the pedal is pressed 25%, the throttle body will be open 25%). With this it can change it to like 0.5 to 1 (like you press the pedal 25% the throttle will open to 50%) Edit: For anyone wondering if it’ll make their car fast, yes it will but not because it added power. It will go faster because it will be doing an action faster (your throttle plate opening faster). It won’t be “oh wow sh*t this is fast af” but it will help reaction times :)
Shyx Guy as you've said, its basically amplifying the signal from the throttle pedal to the throttlebody. So depending on which setting you choose, dictates how much the signal is amplified.

Hi MILAN I have had one on my volvo S60 D5 and i love it, i do keep it in the car i have stuck it to the dash, so when it is very wet or the winter i can turn it down, i did a test i do have vida the volvo software, so i watched the throttle % and the sprint booster only increases the pedal to the movement of up to 50% travel, after i have my foot past 50%, switch the sprint booster on or off and it will not do anything, but it is a switchable voltage amplifier, the ecu max input of 5v for most sensors, so they have to set it not to max out, but only changing it up to 50% of the pedal travel, still makes the car respond very well, and yes i do love it, Thanks for the great videos, Thanks Dave
I know that this is technically just making the throttle more responsive and not technically making any more power and that is why a lot of people call these things a "gimmick". However, the TIME it takes for you to depress your pedal from 0% to 100% down is still a noticeable amount of time. A lot of people say "just slam the gas pedal down faster". Even so, there is still a difference in milliseconds and that DOES make a difference. I personally think this is a good product. Sure, it is quite expensive for what it does, so you can argue it's overpriced, but in terms of functionality, it does what it claims to do very well.
This is what i want on my 2010 mustang GT.. i dont really want to put a tune so this would be perfect for increased throttle response and faster access to power on the low end.
I have a similar product called the Pedal Commander and it works exactly like the Sprint Booster. I have immediate throttle response from my "Z" and honestly, I wouldn't drive without it. I think it's as good as any tune out there for just simply speed of throttle response. It'sone of the best mods I've done to my car!!
I had the Pedal Commander in my Focus. Unfortunately, someone hit me and it was totalled. I just got the Sprint Booster. PC is much better. I dont know if its even working, the sprint booster. I hooked it up properly, I put it in Race 9 and still feel like its not much.........
For the 370z/G37 platform, you do not want to tune it with the portable tuners. I reccommend running Ecutek tune on the car, or osiris uprev, If you have any questions about tuning, pm
@@jesusmartinez1656 Yes, Sprint Booster can work when combined with other tuners. We've tested on Motek, Haltech, Ecutek, HP Tuners and they all worked. Be sure to fine tune the throttle map to work with the Sprint Booster or else it will feel too jerky.

I have a R55 Cooper S, I know when you put the car in sport mode from the factory it increases throttle response. My question is, is there a noticeable difference from the factory sport mode on Mini's and the Sprint Booster?
$300 though... and it mainly improves throttle response, it doesn't really improve acceleration does it? I think it makes you think it's faster but it's the same, only more throttle response? So is it really worth $300??
this thing is like you slamming on your gas pedal to get all the power...but instead of that, you just press it 50% and it gives you all the power faster (makes the gas pedal sensitive). Just like you got two guys who has the same speed or horsepower, one who has great burst/quickness off the line (sprint booster) and he will beat the other guy.
I know this post was a while ago, but like others have commented; even when you floor the pedal you aren't getting 100% throttle. There are quite a few demonstrations on youtube showing how slow most car's natural throttle curve is. It's sad.
I have the first generation of this from 2009 it good but increase the fuel consumption. But this due to have the selector panel you can choose programs and in green zone have a little economy. But in the red zone the car it will be thirsty

wow amazing speaker,lol i love these new generation technicians, there has to be way to make one of these .wonder how many blown engines were gonna have because of this thing, allot of people are purchasing this without there engines being properly naintained,
So i have a similar accord(2009 ex 2.4) as you, would it be better to get one of these because the throttle response is sooo bad, or get a k tunner for a bit more?
So let me get this right... you can REMOVE the throttle controle piece and leave the male to female piece installed and it will remember it on any car?
Pretty sure they work on any DBW electronic throttle. There is other companies that make these. I heard another one called Pedal Commander that does the same thing.
I wouldn't believe "Culo91483" He obviously works for Pedal Commander which is a "wannabe" Sprint Booster. I've had Sprint Booster in 2009 Mustang BEFORE Pedal Crapmander existed. I would never trust that company. Oh and I just looked and Sprint Booster does make it for the 16 Challenger. Get the best, forget the rest :)
Up to setting... I did similar thing with couple of my car.... It do help with response. sometime you don't want to give it full power all the time... so this did a little bit of help... BUt wasting gas that depend on driver...
Haha people actually buy this? What is does is to tell Ecu to give a lot gas when u only press the pedal down just lil bit. It’s not a power mod I’d rather control my accelerator pedal with my foot!
so in reality you can lower response time as well, it will ease up on the throttle and perhaps you will get better gas mileage too right? say you set it at 1 or 2... assuming 5 is the normal throttle and stock... 1-4 being less and 6-9 being more. Correct? someone test this im curious.
