@AtticRaidersRetroReviews Witches, Pumpkins, and Grinning Ghosts was one of them I think. It's hard remembering all the other ones. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark of course, but everyone knows those ones. Anything u do we appreciate

Ok so the titles to the series he’s holding in the beginning is 1. “the ghosts of the creepy castle” 2. The door under the stairs” 3. Some bodies under the attic and 4. “The things in moldy manor”.

Glad to see this second installment-but I confess I shuddered amid the déjà vu I felt in the introduction, as though I were endlessly retracing my steps, forever trapped in the moldy manor! I like this oneʼs artwork, and its three‐dimensionality and animation are fun, but the narrative isnʼt quite as much fun as that of the _Ghosts_ _of_ _Creepy_ _Castle_ book you featured last time. Speaking of that-I failed to make a pop‐up recommendation that time, and so Iʼd better rectify that one right now: _Mommy?_ (2006), richly illustrated by Maurice Sendak of _Where_ _the_ _Wild_ _Things_ _Are_ and energetically paper‐engineered by the now celebrated Matthew Reinhart. The tone is different from that of Moseleyʼs books, but fans of 1920s and ʼ30s horror cinema surely will want to check it out…before _they_ check out…BWA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!

I must admit that when I filmed for this series of 4 books I only recorded one intro, so you'll be feeling a lot more déjà vu in future... I have deliberately put in time codes though on these videos, so regular viewers can skip straight to the actual book. I agree with you, I really like the twist ending with Ghosts of Creepy Castle - I think it's the strongest narratively out of all the books, though as you'll soon see, the last two books rhyme, which I love. Yes, "Mommy?" is one that's on my to-watch-out-for list, but I'm going to try to concentrate on the 80's and 90's if I can.

@@AtticRaidersRetroReviews By the way-perhaps you know this already?-thereʼs at least one edition of _Mommy?_ thatʼs entitled, appropriately enough, _Mummy?_ !!! Usually I prefer my literature to be in the original idiom, but the punnery of the not‐so‐American alternate title and dialogue was too much to resist. Iʼve no idea whether _Mummy?_ was distributed in the UK-I got my copy from a seller in Australia. But itʼs a good book regardless of dialect.
