That long take was way better than this video imo. I could watch that over and over, it was so chill yet had all the highlights, with none of the fluff of the 7 hour stream. Best 4 hour video of Jerma yet.
The streams of this game were some of the best he's ever done and not just from the thing face. Him being stuck in the stairwell near the end of the game was the funniest shit ever.

Tips for anyone who ever plays this game: 1. Never test anyone to see if they're infected. 2. Don't. You won't get past the level Jerma quit on. I recognized that level while Jerma was still in the *vents*. That is how bad that level is.
@@sawyere2496 It's a funny game. Every time your one of your teammates gets hit by a "thing", there's something like a 50% chance they will be infected. Basically, if one of your teammates gets hit in a fight, they're infected. There are also some that are scripted to be infected at certain points. So yeah, not much point in testing anyone.
@@Dr.Oofers iirc in the original movie, The Thing ate the guys and then assimilated their form. It wasn't quite a virus as an organism where every cell was sentient and had self preservation instincts. Given this is correct, they fucked it up hard.

Oh hell yeah! These are my absolute favorite Jerma streams. They never cease to make me puke in my mother's bed laughing. That impossible boss fight in the storage room is the peak of comedy.

For the reading out loud thing in the start: its because when everyone's eyes are on you your main focus is your performance, not the actual material. This isnt much of a problem if you're reading by yourself.
Funny thing about the difficulty, Jerma's playing the game with the hardest settings on (where he doesn't get auto-aim or enemy health bars). So he's even if he had picked "easy" he still would have been playing through this game in the most challenging way possible.

"Hold still, I'll fix you up." *Fires multiple 12 gauge into skull* This is like if someone's dad needed to put down a dog, but instead of just getting them the shot they tried to make an act telling their son that they had to give ol' yeller away because of some arbitrary reason, and then half assedly walking like 2 ft away behind a shed and shooting the damn thing in ear shot of the kid.
Shooting a thing wont kill it he knows this and has only a weapon, since he cant finish it off he empties his ammo and runs for his life but will die eventually.
