This was an important video on the nature of computers, and it only gets a few comments. If it were about the next version of the iPhone, it would probably have millions of views and thousands of comments!

It's the way of RU-vid 😐 Maybe the way of the world. If I created a video called "Slenderman rings me at 3am ... I answer!" I'd probably get 1M+ views, but as you say something like this doesn't get the hits. 🙁

"The world of tomorrow in which the digital computer, the new machine, may be of even greater importance than the atomic bomb". me, an aspiring computer technician, who's watching this from a tiny handheld computer whilst doing work on a desktop computer: You really think so?

Simple , eloquent , complete. Discussion was about machines and got me wondering if humans are getting dumber or machines are getting smart

I don't think that humans are getting dumber because it's them who is teaching the machines to act like them

It seems the more advanced computers get, the less likely people are to consider them capable of “thinking.“ Familiarity breeds contempt, I guess. I have done a series of videos on a video game proving, I believe, the game is capable of thinking, and the responses range from “ho-hum“ to insisting that I am merely showing a set of coincidences. If full artificial intelligence ever comes, I think most people will be caught by surprise!

yes but why use virtual human minds? modeled after the human organic neural network. they have basic human instincts like breathing. they freak out and can't breathe and then suffer anxiety at levels i don't even want to imagine
