Picking up all three as a Christmas present to myself. Sooooo excited to have the ACTUAL books of ninjutsu arriving at my doorstep, not just someone's idea of how to be a ninja!

When i was a kid i was really interested in ninjitsu. I remember finding a book on amazon that had tons of recipes for things such as medicine, food, smokebombs etc. Do you know what book i could be thinking of? was it 'The Book Of Ninja' perhaps?

peacemakerao well, i dont know, but i will tell you what i will do, i will read the 3 books 3 times, picking the order at random... So, lets say the books are 1,2 and 3... The order would be 1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 3 ,1, 2... That way, i will read all the books having read all books before... Altho... I have LOTS of free time... So, i think not many can do that...
And i will start with the bansenshukai... Since its the longest, once i finnidh it reading the other 2 books will be easier, and will probably complement any lack of information those books may have...

I have the Bansenshukai and the Iga and Koka Skills. I also have Masaaki Hatsumi's Way of the Ninja and Togakure ryu Ninpo Taijutsu but that's not real ninjutsu.
Not saying that.... Does Hatsumi teach a martial art? Yes he does, but does he teach shinobi no jutsu. No he doesn't. I have much respect for him and his art. Most of what he teaches is a old Samurai Battlefield jujitsu.
