If you shoot a 3 and you are behind the line and then land past the line it doesn't just become a 2 automatically right?? This is to everyone saying its a 2 pointer..
If you might make it wide open, why not just go straight to the rim and dunk or lay it in for 2 pts. If you're not open, why not shoot a 3 or a floater?
Its where you shot it from. Because if it's where you land if you did a fade away from mid range and landed behind the 3 point line that's not 3 points.
Do it on a fast break. Worst case, you get your own rebound and dunk it or you tip it in. But you are right, trying to do this with a set defence would way harder then just shooting the ball
Some player can defenitly do that the freethrow is 15' and the 3 is under 24' when they do the freethrow dunk they land atless 3 ' after the rim lets say 2' so 17' befort they shot. 24 -17 = 7. Its pretty close. Would need the softess finish ever
