A more improved version of a video that miraculously no longer exists. THE THREE STOOGES AND ANY EPISODE OF THE THREE STOOGES ARE OWNED BY COLUMBIA PICTURES. Original video: • THE THREE STOOGES EVER...
Just a few things that I noticed watching this video multiple times. 1. The title card read "Moe, Larry, Curley" until 1937; thereafter it was "Curly, Larry, Moe". 2. The legendary Harry Cohn's name appeared on title cards until 1937. Also, in 1937, the "Columbia" icon was updated. 3. In 1939, the Stooges' theme changed from "Listen to the Mockingbird" to "Three Blind Mice". 4. Lucille Ball was featured in "Three Little Pigskins". P.S. There are about three or four Shemp era shorts that are in the public domain.
100% agree! Columbia should have kept that version instead of switching to the 'sliding strings' music in 1945 after Curly's first stroke. It's kind of depressing, almost like the studio was playing up Curly's illness.
I use that "Listen to the Mockingbird" song on my iPhone to alert me around 5:58 that it's almost time to watch The Three Stooges on MeTV on Saturdays, which I call "Stoogeapalooza".
I wonder if there are any surviving prints of the early Three Stooges shorts in which Moe, Larry, and Curly are billed as 'Howard, Fine, and Howard' (before officially taking on the name The Three Stooges).
You skipped the intro to "Pardon My Backfire", which was the 2nd Stooges short in 3-D (the other was Spooks), as well as the intro to "Disorder In The Court". Also, there was an intro with the title card having a white background and the letters in black, with the stooges' heads tilted like a curve.
I didn't know Lucille Ball was in Three Little Pigskins. I think she learned slapstick from Moe, Larry, and Curly and made it her own when she was on I Love Lucy.
Stealing someone else's video and passing off their incredibly hard work as your own is disgusting. For what it's worth, my video had almost 20,000 views before it was "miraculously" taken down for copyright infringement. And now your videos are "miraculously" posted. You should be ashamed of yourself, you thief. People like you are the reason why creative people like me have their videos taken down. I hope you're proud of yourself.
