This is from the feature film Time out for rhytym, the stooges had a supporting role in the film, and here's the maja skit, done while curley was in good health!
Larry's remark of oh, he can see better than I can-I thought it was a dime, was was later echoed by Soupy Sales during on of Moe's guest appearances on The Mike Douglas Show in 1973.
Thanks for posting this! It's interesting to see how this skit has evolved through their career and it's great to see one if not their first time doing this skit on film.
@@youareababoonandiamnot4317 They did this skit once in a movie with Joe DiRita playing the part of the third stooge. DiRita, in my opinion, didn't bring the depth or the energy to the part that Curly did.
This one is better because it was before he had his series of strokes starting in early 1945, so he was his old self and had his energy which he was missing in Three Little Pirates.
@@larryk1313 I don't know how you can say that, seeing as how Curly was very ill by this point, and would suffer his career ending stroke on the final day of filming their next short, Half Wits Holiday.
