Thank you for sharing this amazing video. It’s like looking out across another planet that’s a vast iceland filled with unpredictable and powerful weather that could turn on you without any notice. Leaving you and your team to the elements with only all of your skill, knowledge and sheer will power to get you all out of danger or harms way. It feels so alone and desolate even though you are there with others. I read someone say it’s your ego why you do this. From years past to now expeditions are what teaches the world about the unknown and even the known. Your expedition showed me the raw beauty of the mountain and it’s unpredictability; it showed me how a team can work together to trust in each other and have each other’s back; because ultimately your lives may need each other to rely on to stay alive or to save a life. I commend each of you on your tenacity and willpower. What you do brings knowledge to us all. Sending prayers to always keep you all safe and Love and Light to you all.
It is so sad to watch because Ali the man that they tried to summit in the end died soon after, Tomek died as well soon on this mountain and he was with the same woman. She was saved by two polish men who risked their lives. 😢
