"The Tick" Intro Sequence - 3D Animated Remake

I wanted to create kind of a love letter to the Ben Edlund character The Tick, and the 90s animated show that served as my introduction to that world, by recreating the title sequence to the show. I wanted to keep it feeling hand-drawn, so I animated in a "straight-ahead" style and kept the poses on 2s to try to emulate that style, and this is the best I could do.

As a person learning 3d animation, I can only hope to get this good. This looks like a real cgi tick show from like the early 2000s and it's greatness. Keep up the good work, and as always SPOOON!

Brad Groatman aah good to see your artwork on here Sir! Heads off to your work! You can’t imagine how much I love 90’s comic cartoon series! Well executed first off I came across you tutorial on Digital Tutors I really wanna to make a shot similar to that for my reel if you don’t mind for using the concept I’d greatly appreciate it if you can hire volunteers to join your fun projects man! I’d love to join and make a positive contribution to your personal projects. Well executed! Purely amazing. So much work done even including FX! You are like a powerhouse. I was gonna leave a comment on the audio quality but it actually adds to the animation. Make the image more blurry and this honestly feels like an old PC ROM game intro from the 90’s. The type of thing that plays after you boot up the game, gives me a very nostalgic comfy feeling.
