i have chronic back pain and kyphosis from years of heavy lifting and training, but even worse than this was when i was hanging a big old 5lb ceiling light, with my arms over my head, and sneezed and pulled my back out. it was excruciating. maybe it was due in part to the fact that my back muscles werent relaxed when i sneezed because i had my arms over my head holding the light? i dunno, but it was the worst back pain ever, even counting a handful of deadlifting injuries and the pain i endure now daily. d.c. aint bs'ing: sneezing can mess your back up!
