I love the Time Eater!

I gotta say.. The time eater is a bad ass character!

Whatever we think of Gens' bare-premise story, I think we can all agree the first scenes setting up the Time Eater were actually pretty solid.

Because that was epic!

I hated that too! Everyone: That looks like a homing shot! Everyone else: Careful, Sonic! Me: I know! I know that it's a homing shot! Cause it's a little hard to not know that it's a homing shot WHEN YOU YELL THAT EVERY 4 SECONDS!!!

I kinda wished that the final boss in forces or mania would’ve brought back the time eater

guys, i'm not a 100% on this but theres a slight possibility, a slim chance, a complete guess, an innacurate estimate with every amount of uncertainty in my body, when i say that yellow blast of energy may be in fact, a homing shot!

Classic Sonic became the 1st to witness *seeing* this abomination show up in his timeline before it later appeared *again* in Modern Sonic's timeline & *blew off* his celebration party (as it was Sonic's Anniversary Day when this game had gotten dropped) after a couple more flyby mockery's (alongside some nostalgic throwbacks to it's Bosses *especially from Perfect Chaos* that quickly went threw Sonic's overall game series over the years ranging only from Sonic 2 all the way over to Colors while it's Stages were random placed with Green Hill being the iconic starter 1 of the series.) & encounters from Eggman, it was shown full circle that *He obtained it as an overall power source to try & permanently erase Sonic* (which was following the close of Colors & after Modern Eggman had 1st met in his Classic Self thus plotting the short startup of how Generations would play out.) & in the end.. it'd take *both Sonic's going Super* (alongside them combining there power into what would be known as a Double Super Boost) just to bring it down. 😐

I just realized-the Time Eater is literally a time-space distortion which at one point or anther has absorbed massive quantities of energy which caused it to becone heavily energised and grow a "mind" if you can even call it that. The armor in it's boss fight is most likely there to help the monster focus and control it's powers better in order to kill Sonic.

I don't no! But we like it!

It's not THAT bad. Sure it's not as great as Perfect Chaos or The Final Hazard, but once you get used to it, it's tolerable. I'd rather play this boss than Solaris or Dark Gaia. At least the Time Eater is only a 2 minute fight as opposed to a 20 minute fight.
