the time has come......last drive in the Focus ST? 

I live in Italy, I am 21 years old and I have wanted this car since I was a child. I am madly in love, but in my country these types of cars have always been very expensive, mainly due to the very high taxes and maintenance costs. Now I am working hard to be able to afford it as soon as possible, but there are only two on sale and they are modified (I would like to restore it and make it completely original). By now the purchase costs are increasing and I hope to be able to do it. This car is one of my greatest wishes In Italy I only saw one several years ago and I almost started crying with emotion

Had my MK2 electric orange st3 for eight years and use it daily and it put's a smile on my face every time I drive it

I am holding onto my completely standard pfl with 41k miles. This video sums up why I got mine and the reason I’m going to hold onto it and keep it standard. Give it 5 more years and they will be holding good value

Got a 07 ST which I’ve drove across to Italy and back. It ate up the miles easily plus had loads of fun on mountain passes and tunnels.

The very first video I saw on your channel Jamie was the St and the RS many years ago. It made me want one and I've still got it today, very standard except for exhaust, block mod, and upgraded bushes ,stripped and powder coated all underneath to last as long as possible. Still on low miles as she's enjoyed only on the weekends. Keep up the good work 👍

Yes I totally agree, the era of those cars are brilliant, so glad I bought mine a good 5 years ago done a few things with it but not overly modified, just looking to restore the car and hide away in a garage. Shame loads of people are dismantling them and scraping them but makes the few that are rare.

I owned one just over a year ago now selling was my biggest regret so within the next couple of months I'll be behind the wheel of another by far the best car I ever have owned

I've got a mk 2 st 07 plate,low mileage bog standard in black, love it, great car's and like you said they are going up in price as we speak

I used to have a mk2 st but coz climate prices went up I had to sell it but watching this video just makes me one another one so hopefully some time this yeh I will look for another 👍🏿

Mines completely standard and very low miles, it's amazing and a brilliant drive wouldn't change it for anything, love the 5 pot

Guys you are correct in saying the difference between RS and ST is mental! I agree and mort RS mk2 rusts just as quick as any ST. Its all about care and if the car has been looked after! Alsdoo the Prices for the rs is just starting to fall and one of the reasons they went through the roof was certain pop up garages just inflated the price so mush and offered stupid finance on them allowing youngsters to sign their lifes away! The market has now stabalized and there are more RS units up for sale bringing the prices down quite rapidly! Love the blue ST sounds great lots of fun and a genuine car Thanks for sharing!

Got an oem+ orange facelift. Keep thinking about selling it as it's the third car. But the. I drive it. Keeping it looking standard. Few choice mods: stage 1 map. Intercooler. De res exhaust and some powerflex bushes. Goes well. Sounds nice. Every other one I see is modded +++

Just bought a project 105k miles but straight other thsn usua exhaust and a stage one tune. I am also contemplating the DMB stripes pack so it will look the same as yours apart from larger RS tips

I have a standard black panther 2006 ST-3 Great cars.

I got a black pfl St2 with Revo stage 1 & a rsp front splitter. Apart from that it’s standard, I’m just going to make it as mint as I can, think il do the same as this one, down pipe and sports cat and leave the original back box on the car. It’s hard to find nice examples of these now, most have been ruined. I’m lucky to have a nice example, she’s a keeper.

Also if you want the 5pot sound you can get a mondao that has 5pot engines in

natural pops are fine but pop and bang maps are not.

completely agree with you modern cars now are just lairy without any real individual character. And this generation of focus sound awesome I personally prefer the noise from these rather than the audi rs3 or golf r as for the market its insane now it is hard to find an awesome car thats a right bargain to

I do like the five pot Focus but they are so common where I live on the south coast might have something to do with devils development being a spitting distance from my house I seem to hear them more than I see them whilst they’re tuning on the rolling road.I can see where you live from where I live would love to bring my M3 Evo over on the ferry one day for a little drive around as I spent a lot of my youth on holiday there nearly every year and I loved it

I have a big fat empty credit card, and there's an 07 blue st3 totally standard for sale 1 mile away for 4k, it's so bloody tempting! Maybe without kids it's have been impulsive enough to buy

This video has made me decide to never sell mine. So glad i have just got a daily so i can now tuck it away for weekends and get the bodywork perfect 👌. Mine is a 2010 ST3 with a miltek catback and a set of bola wheels and a splitter kit for my personal touch. Not going to tinker with it anymore than that, just enjoy the car for what it is.

I own a focus st225 in performance blue great cars and been offered good money for it but I can't part with it

i haver an st and the boot is too small for us unfortuantly, we went to wales on holiday 2 kids and mrs and we had to put stuff on the kids aswell haha but its not bad for a hatch. tempted by the mk3 st estate

As nice as the st is ,you can’t compare it to an rs, the mk2 rs in my opinion is the best hot hatch ever made, and it may cost you £25k for one but in a few years you will probably double your money.
