Hard to not be affected by that scene. Prince perhaps suspected his time was running out and made things right in the most beautiful way possible, and not without that drama of walking out from the shadows. You couldn't make this up! Legend RIP
If it was Anyone else besides prince I’d be doubtful of him walking out the shadows but the amount of stories about him being that dramatic give credit to it.
It always seemed like a legitimate rivalry . Even in the movie. Purple Rain was pure Beautiful Raw Passion and Emotion . I think that was why it was so Powerful...

Growing up in the '80s, I was grateful to have gotten a chance to experience life with real good music, great times, and bands like THE TIME and PRINCE AND THE REVOLUTION!!!! I was so happy that both Prince and Morris had patched up their beef. I still miss Prince to this very day. The short video tribute by Morris is so heartfelt and beautiful. #continue2rippurpleone💜🙏

it was, the pharmacy where he got his meds probably used an different cheaper suppler, and he got a batch made in Mexico or China, some pharmacy was running out of pills, I wonder how many other people OD in that area during that time, and if they pull the pills from that pharmacy after his death, but it was an accident
Accidental in the sense that the prescription was probably tainted (black market). You know the doctor that can give you what you want when you're paying the right $$$. That doctor probably went through a backchannel when he couldn't get it the legal way. Real generic version. Sad
He almost od'd in his plane 2 weeks before be died in the elevator. He made an emergency stop and was rushed to the hospital. They were able to revive him. The hospital wanted to keep him for a couple of days. He wanted some more opiates. He should have hired someone to be on call with narcan if he was going to continue to take these new strong pills. He was in control of everything except his addiction. Cant win that battle while still using.
