I know that this is a bit off topic, however, I used to use drugs, finally got off them however I needed something to fill the void and accidentally discovered warhammer, was walking by a store in my town, and saw some cool stuff went in and started checking it out, it's a store devoted to mainly warhammer they have painting areas and huge battlescape tables in the back all the books and miniatures for purchase and a whole community of people that do it in their spare time. I had to ditch all of my "friends " who use so pretty much all of them. Now I found new ones of a like mind. And when I'm not working, doing mundane tasks ect I paint or play. Who knows, warhammer may have saved my life. It is expensive, I'll give it that. I've heard it's even bigger over in Europe.

One thing that stuck out to me, the use of the volcano cannon to execute the traitor engine. The volcano cannon was a relatively recent development deployed in M36. How could an engine in the heresy be equipped with one?

This gave me Flashbacks to playing the MechWarrior Series back then! good times!

Gulliman is great. By far the best Primarch. (I also love the Alphas and Alpharius with Omega as a two sided Legion). He is the best most loyal Primarch. The right one to take over and preserve the work of the corpse Emperor! In many way while less powerful than the Emperor he is a better man with better less arrogance and more thoughtful. The Human Races greatest three being the Dead Emperor, Malcador and Gulliman being irreplaceable!

The closest non-WH40K equivalent I can fathom would be Star Trek star Ships having full scale ship to ship combat less than 10,000ft from the ground. A single starship can scour the life from a planet in a single orbit. Phasers that can carve mountain ranges into rift valleys and photon (anti-matter) torpedoes that can range from a small nuke to something that can shatter a small moon. And are quite smart and capable of overcoming or bypassing almost any defense they encounter. But are quite vulnerable if their shields fail, something that should be taken with a lot of salt as writers tend to downplay their own lore stats for the sake of exciting stories. But then if you can so easily wreck a planet focusing that kind of firepower on a single target is going to kill you regardless. ONe can argue the same things for Titans. This is not Star Trek versus WH40K, but just how close can one get to the other in aspect. Also Genesis device. Rewrite a planet not just blow it up. Imagine waiting for a full scale Tyranid invasion and then just "Genesis device" killing the Tyranids and restoring the planet as if nothing happened. Kind of a very happy alternative to exterminatus.

Someday. Luetin will become a publishing director for WH40k.

LUETIN, a slightly random but possibly enlightening video idea popped into my head while watching... Perhaps a short video on some of the artwork you feature. Sometimes the art is an unintelligible sprawl of combat and anarchy and it can be difficult to understand who and what we are looking at. I wonder how much artwork is based on very specific and pivotal moments that, by themselves, are the perfect insight into the background of certain hero characters.

Warhammer 40k is a fun and thrilling fictitious universe to get into, but I'm glad that it's not real because it would be really sad if it was real. I just can't imagine all of the horrors that happens in that universe not just the ones caused by the chaos gods but also what happens within the imperium, like what if you were born a poor child... Eventually you would die of something very horrible without the universe or anyone else knowing that you existed, if I were in that universe I'd neither choose to be tainted by chaos either, it's just horrific.

Seriously, bro, you still have the absolute best 40K channel on RU-vid! It's no wonder that you became the object of those other guys "syndication..." Still stand by what I said about you becoming a professional writer in some capacity; you def have the chops for it; and it may free up some time for you to post more often, though that might detract from the distinction that all your vids have of feeling like an anticipated pop-culture "event." I always thought 6mm 'epic' captured the industrial scale of warfare in the 40k universe far better than the 28mm squad based table top games. Nice to see it getting a reboot of sorts.

This is insanely epic, the use of music along with the incredible narration makes this so much better than watching an actual movie.

@22:00 Physical weapons can bypass void shields? I thought void shields were often saturated with fire from tanks/artillery/etc in an attempt to overload them. Or do void shields work like the shields from Dune in that objects moving below some defined velocity can slip through them?

its not good writing that the rare psi titan gets killed all the time. there are only a few and they are supposedly powerful, but yet they get brought down? no, that doesnt make any sense. what makes more sense is that there are only a few and they are basically invulnerable.
