Schaff in the Megamind 2 video: next month is going to be my month, I’m going to make a bunch of videos I’m passionate about Schaff on the first day of the month:
You know the creator of this video is a true professional when he makes no mention of the fact that Tony never had the makings of a varsity athlete and how that impacted his life in later years.
Schaff NAILED this iceberg parody with the tone and editing. This feels like an actual iceberg video narrated by a completely different person. Adding stuff like “I’ve never seen the show, but here’s my opinion on it” and “this theory hinges on X, so that makes it believable enough to be on this list”. Now that’s dedication to an April fools!
I’m honestly pretty annoyed with this video. Icebergs are supposed to be obscure lesser known fact, theories, or tidbits about a piece of media or topic. However this iceberg contained nothing new. As someone who also hasn’t watched the sopranos, these are all things you just pick up through osmosis when other people mention the sopranos. I know it’s supposed to be a gag, but to spend 20 minutes repeating commonly known facts about beloved cartoon character tony tony soprano feels like a colossal waste of time.
I just imagine Tony Soprano watching this on his laptop, doing his heavy breathing thing as the video goes on. Until finally he just picks it up and throws it across the room.
I still am in shock that there is STILL no recorded evidence of Tony Soprano’s appearance in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. I feel like I can just remember playing as him on Lakeside Park.
My favorite fact is there was a game series called Tony Soprano: Pro Skater but during development, Soprano ran into a young boy named Tony Hawk who wanted to be a skater boi really bad, a tear shed in Soprano's eye as he graciously gave his game series to Tony Hawk It was one of the most generous moments in human history
considering it ended in 2007, this pretty much isn’t a joke and this probably is legitimately true because I’d imagine most of schaffrillas’s main audience is probably 13-18 with the 8-12 year olds following behind for some reason
Actually there is no way Tony Soprano knew the Duck from the Duck Song, The Duck canonically lives in St. Louis, Missouri, while Tony Soprano lives in North Caldwell, New Jersey. It is very unlikely that they travelled to meet each other
But we don’t know that they didn’t spend ANY time in each other’s respective regions. A lemonade stand is a summer job. Maybe Tony visited Missouri for the summer, or the duck visited New York
The soprano family is an Italian mob family, right? Saint Louis has notorious crime problems and Italian immigration. It’s very likely that Tony visited the city on an occasion and met the duck there.
This is Schaff's most cursed video. The creepy and droning background music, the video game with terrible PS1 graphics in the background, the uncomfortable atmosphere as Schaff goes on and on about Tony Soprano nonsense...It's like I am drugged in his basement as he tells me this
i was 16 minutes in when i realized this was an april fools video, i was fully convinced this was only a natural path for the channel after the which character in smash ate pizza and the free birds theory, i didn't even question it
This is genuinely unnerving. Like i'm looking at an alternate universe where Schaffrillas wasn't a theater kid, and instead of chasing his passions and making this legendary channel, he resorted to making tasteless cookie cutter iceberg videos
As soon as I saw the thumbnail and the "Warning: Loud Noice, Scary":, i knew this was our resident Schaffrillas April Fools Video, And boy what a topic XD
I remember the first time I encountered Tony Soprano, the infamous Appraiser of Death. It was a cold, dark night in the back alleys of New Jersey, where shadows danced like ghosts and whispers of danger lingered in the air. I stumbled upon him by accident, a chance meeting that would change the course of my life forever. He stood there, looming like a specter of death, his eyes cold and calculating as they bore into my soul. "Who are you?" I stammered, my voice trembling with fear and uncertainty. He didn't answer at first, just studied me with a gaze that seemed to strip away my very essence, leaving me feeling exposed and vulnerable. Finally, he spoke, his voice like gravel scraping against stone. "I am Tony Soprano," he said, his words heavy with the weight of his reputation. "But you can call me the Appraiser of Death." I felt a chill run down my spine at the mention of his title, knowing full well the stories that swirled around him like a dark cloud. They said he could appraise the worth of a life with a single glance, that he held the power of life and death in the palm of his hand. "What do you want from me?" I managed to ask, my voice barely above a whisper. Tony Soprano didn't answer immediately, instead taking a long, deliberate look at me as if sizing me up, weighing my worth against some invisible scale. Finally, he spoke again, his voice low and menacing. "You owe me a debt," he said, his words hanging in the air like a death sentence. "And I've come to collect." I knew then that there was no escape, no bargaining with the devil himself. In that moment, I realized that I was at the mercy of the Appraiser of Death, a man whose very name struck fear into the hearts of those who crossed his path. And as he reached out to claim what was his, I could only pray that I would live to see another day in the merciless world of Tony Soprano.
I think it's the former because IMO the comedic value of all of the jokes he could make that actually tie into the show would outweigh the comedic value of a single joke about him never actually seeing the show.
Alright. This was WAY too scary Schaff. When Tony Soprano came up on the screen, I shit my pants and invaded eastern Botswana. This April Fools prank is 100% on the NOT EPIC list!
As a person who is clinically addicted to Iceberg videos (I’m subscribed to Sweguin, AKA: the creator of the “Massive RU-vid Iceberg” videos, so I should know) I love this. All it was missing was Dark Water from Yume Nikki’s soundtrack at the bottom tier. My personal favorite entry was “Tony is responsible for the Toys R’ Us in Times Square getting shut down”, I just love how out-of-context it feels.
Finally a Tony Soprano iceberg that is completely true and honest. I don't understand why people can't get the basic history of Tony in Mario Kart right.
Skipped to the middle of the video to see if this was actually a full video, and I love how authentic this feels, just missing some ominous background music
What the falaffel are you two bots doing replying to my mildly humorous gag with your shameless self-promotion? I am highly offended by your display of immaturity, and do not intend to forgive you. May all your gabagool be rotten.
You forgot to mention that Tony actually gets his gabagool from Ra's al Ghul, who specially marinates all his meats in the Lazarus Pool, thus giving them immortality conferring properties, which is how Tony will survive Nov. 15, 2037 and be the only person who gets to see your Christopher Nolan ranking.
Beautiful chefs kiss! This character has been a rising threat in the background of schaffrilas videos and has permeated the lore. We all knew tony was coming
You know during the making of the Sopranos, every once and a while the producers would get a call from the Mafia about the show. It was something small like, "We would never wear shorts at a barbecue."
I haven’t watched this video yet but I love that Gene Parmesan himself was in the thumbnail because Arrested Development is something that be brought up more in this channel since it’s such a good show.
I have been playing pranks all day making jokes, came back to internetland, put this video on first, COMPLETELY forgot what day it was.... I was really concerned about Tony Soprano in Mario Kart, because I 100% everything.
